Such a cute store! The owner is incredibly polite and kind, and the food is absolutely delicious — a real taste of Russian-Ukrainian cuisine. All the food is Slavic. I loved the warm atmosphere. The new owner made me feel so welcome. Wishing the store all the best and lots of growth!

The wait time is ridiculous. Every time I go there I have to wait forever in line... Just yesterday there was only one customer in front of me and I still had to wait over 20 minutes before she got to me. There is no other place in Santa Monica that would make me wait this long. To make matters worse, she didn't accept my order and said there was a $10 minimum for credit cards. I'm sure she could have easily made an exception, but she refused and tried to get me to buy something else. Moreover, she tried to blame me for refusing to buy the product, but how was I supposed to know what the minimum was? I don't read minds. Nobody in Santa Monica gives me any trouble except the owner here. I wouldn't recommend buying here...

Solid brunch menu (I had the oysters and the Eggs Benedict with a Brut Rose Champagne and the trifle for dessert). My server Corbin was very friendly and attentive. The outdoor space is cool, trendy, and hip, but not over-the-top. The music pulses, but it’s not a distraction to conversation.
I’ve been looking for good places since moving to LA almost 6 months ago. This was one of the few times I wasn’t disappointed.
