Amazing Dinner!! The food here was the level of the late L'Orangerie Restaurant. The highest quality we've had in a very long time here in SoCal not just in LA. The Crab Gratin was excellent and totally different from what I expected. A pleasant tasty surprise. The Beef Wellington was sublime: perfect medium rare, pastry puff also cooked just right. The quality of the beef is even better than any steak house we eat at...neither STK, Ruth's Chris, Fleming's, Eddie V's, or Taylor's can come close. While they are all good steak houses the quality of the beef here was several levels up. A day later we are still talking about last night's dinner here and of course recommending it. Considering that it was Thanksgiving day, the service in general, and the restaurant staff functioned at 200%. To top it off, it was surprising to have the manager come by every table to say hello and ensure everything was up to the highest standards. Hope too return soon...maybe Christmas day!

Boxwood at The London delivers an unforgettable experience. The host set the tone right away, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the night special. The food was exceptional from start to finish. The fish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor without being heavy, and the kale salad was one of the best I've ever had, fresh, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. Their house-special cocktail was outstanding and tied everything together beautifully. A truly impressive dining experience. Highly recommended.

Great food and service, but the indoor dining room is the most boring and underwhelming place to eat.

I booked this restaurant specifically because it was a rooftop restaurant. That's what all the pictures showed. I was very disappointed to arrive and find that the rooftop had been closed for dining since the end of September. Was that mentioned in fine print somewhere that I missed? The food was good, as was the service, but otherwise this was just an average hotel dining room. Not the special setting I (reasonably) hoped for.

This is classic front of the house inexperience killing any chance for fine cuisine ever being truly special. The crab rice cake appetizer was delicious along with mushroom pasta. The char grilled sea bass was excellent along with the Beef Wellington for two. That’s about where it ended.

Our server, Liz was not only unfamiliar with the menu but even when asked unable to articulate her thoughts or customer favorites about what to order. She actually said to one of our guests, “I’ll serve you want ever you want,” after being asked what were some of her favorites were on the menu.

Others must agree because the place had three two-tops not including our party the entire night on a Saturday. The wine list is average at best notwithstanding charging upwards of $30 per glass.

To add insult to injury the F&B person needs some recommendations on proper stemware and not those served at a wedding for 200 people. The bartender poured a quality Oregon Cab ice cold and when questioned the servers response was did we want something else.

If you are going to spend $400+ for three people you expect more—even in LA.

AMAZING food, service and view The only thing I will say is if you're doing parking it does take a while to get there early.

This is a restaurant located in the London Hotel in West Hollywood on the top floor. The restaurant location is certainly amazing with the views of the entire city. It is a very small number of tables but "white tablecloths" and nicely laid out. The food is "ok." You will never leave this restaurant saying, "I am so full." Portions are small to tiny. I had a burger that was perhaps 3 inches in diameter and can only be prepared WELL DONE. A nice experience but pricey and one of those "do it one time."

We went on a Monday night because it was the actual day of my birthday. The restaurant was empty so we had the entire place to ourselves! They gave us a beautiful corner table, and made us feel like royalty. The food was absolutely outstanding and the chef even made a surprise chocolate cake for me. The location is absolutely beautiful with parking right next door. We'll definitely be back.

It was really sad because there were only three tables with diners. The food and service were good but it felt really lonely and uncomfortable to be in an almost empty room.

I was disappointed to find that the pictures on the website for the rooftop restaurant were outdated. I chose this place for my best friend's birthday based on reviews and images, but the restaurant was closed. We ended up sitting in a very ordinary café instead. Please update your photos to reflect the current status!
