Fantastic restaurant! The sea bass was incredible, the tuna rice crispy was outstanding, and I could have done without the king crab roll. The ribeye was also superb, and there was a great selection of drinks as well.

When we got the there they made us wait a bit because our table was not ready even though we were 15 mins late. But when we walked the restaurant there were a bunch of empty tables. When our waiter came to greet us she told us we had to order everything at once because it was complicated to put one order one at a time (again empty restaurant) The food and and drinks were great! I recommend the sashimi pizza and the crispy shrimp. Besides the poor service everything else was good.

Catch was a great experience. They were generous as they knew we were celebrating an anniversary, bringing us a complimentary dessert. The entire staff was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. Overall wonderful experience.

Great experience and amazing food! We ordered the tuna tartar, NY strip steak, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, french fries and Caesar salad. All of it was perfect!

The food is great, but the service is extremely slow. For a party of 2, it took an hour and a half to receive all of our food (maybe 5 things total)? We ended up waiting 30 mins between each dish. One dish was two pieces of sushi, so we sat there hungry for a long time. It seemed like our waitress would avoid our table until the next dish came. That being said, she was very polite and helpful.
Given a terrible table even though we were one of the first to fill dining room. Had to watch service station all night and had high traffic service ruining the evening.

Had not been to this catch but our prior experiment at Catch Steak was wonderful so we tried Cafch LA on a Saturday night. We were six people and sat on the outside balcony which is a really beautiful setting. The first thing to know is that this is one of those restaurants that makes you wait until your whole party arrives which personally drives me crazy. I pay a lot of money to eat and when I arrive on time with most of my party I expect to be seated so I can start eating and drinking. Not waiting. There is a gigantic bouncer at the door - he was the best part of the night. He is courteous. He is funny. He keeps things moving and safe. And his personality is amazing. The food is good but not amazing- I find the steaks at steak 48 to be far superior. The only spice they use on the steaks appears to be salt. And they are SALTY. And I tried everyone's. Each one is salty. The sushi pizza was the highlight. And the Toro nigiri. Oddly no caviar and no lobster. Two significant oversights in my view. This is also a restaurant that makes you order all the food at once. Which I understand. But when you arrive and want to throw in some appetizers and drinks to get things going that should be okay. It isn't. All our food arrived coursed nicely except the mains and sides. The sides arrived after we were all 3/4s done with all of the food. So all went to waste. And we couldn't enjoy the food with the sides together. There do appear to be very helpful support staff for the waiters. So not sure why this happened. But for a $1,200 meal this did not meet our expectations. We won't be returning. Probably fun for a drink before heading somewhere else for dinner. Bar seemed fun. We didn't sit there so can't appropriately review.
