The staff at this restaurant consistently displayed unprofessional behavior. On multiple visits, I heard servers and barbacks openly complaining about customers and making inappropriate remarks. I speak both English and Spanish, so unfortunately I understood comments that were clearly not intended for guests to hear.
The food lacked flavor, and the overall service experience was disappointing. Several staff members were openly discussing their tips, and the manager—who seemed disengaged—handled a customer concern poorly and appeared to side with staff rather than address the issue constructively.
Additionally, the restaurant’s culture felt out of touch with the neighborhood. There appeared to be very little diversity among the staff, and based on conversations I have heard management only hires a certain amount of “non-white” server,, which is extremely concerning and backwards “progress”..
Overall, the management structure appears ineffective, the service was unprofessional, and the food and drinks were not worth the price. Unfortunately, I will not be returning after a few years of regular visits.
I’m telling my friends to do the same. The service level at this place is going downhill and they pick and choose like who to treat well.

My brother’s friend used to eat at this restaurant, but what happened today was absolutely unacceptable. When I came to pick up an order as a delivery driver during my off-hours, their security guard shouted at me aggressively, telling me, “You can’t park here, go outside,” while frowning and acting extremely rude.
There were plenty of empty parking spaces, yet he still pointed at me and yelled repeatedly, as if I wasn’t even a human being. His behavior was deeply disrespectful, hostile, and clearly discriminatory.
After this experience, I will never come to this restaurant again, and I will make sure others know how delivery drivers are treated here.

Service was wonderful, thanks Jesus for being so attentive! Food outdid itself, we walked out belly's fully & very happy :) Will be back again.
Exceptional fresh and delicious seafood. The oysters were delicious & the fish dip was smoky, fresh and exceptional. Charming interior with open kitchen. Spectacular service too, Jesus might be the best waiter in West Hollywood.
Was a bit disappointed a this visit. They were out of 2 specials listed after we ordered. Fish size was very small. Whoopie pie was dry. The total bill for 2 adults 2 kids was $460 plus the $17 for parking which felt high. Probably won't return after this visit and have loved it in the past.
Patio, fish and cips, coleslaw...delish! Also, favorite cocktail: Born in East LA, always good!
We enjoy Connie and Ted's - I'm a former New Englander and the food is authentic in it's quality and presentation . . . I usually have the clams and mussels . . always good. The staff is consistently friendly and professional. A special shout out to Randi the manager (or Randy - not sure about the y vs. i thing ). She is always gracious and keeps things running smoothly! Kudos all around!!
Connie and Ted’s will always be one of my most favorite seafood restaurants. I highly recommend and thoroughly enjoyed their Jo’s Wicked Good Chowda (Sampler of Three - New England, Manhattan, and Rhode Island Clear), oysters and lobster!!! I always look forward to coming back.

Ordered through Postmates. Terrible food. The clam chowder was basically water with butter, not many clams and the potatoes were cut in really huge chunks. Clam steamers were not fresh at all and they didn't peel off the skin, gross. Onion rings were decent. Won't be ordering here again.

Food wasn't good my out-of-town guests were not pleased. My fish and chips wasn't cooked. Well it was completely underwhelming. Our waiter had too many tables to handle and there was a dog near fish it made for an unappetizing environment.

Not our first time in this restaurant, we decided to celebrate our anniversary here. Unfortunately, although they ask during the reservation process, our server forgot or didn't care. Fish is always good here. Fresh oysters. Halibut was great but too much pesto sauce ruined the fish flavor. Again, we love this place. But this time they could have done it better.
Excellent service, the waitstaff was wonderful and very attentive. The maine lobster cooked to perfection- slid out the shell (and having grown up in Boston, you better believe I know lobster!)and the squash dish was unique and delicious. My son and his family all said what they ordered was delicious too (hamburgers, steak). The atmosphere was terrific in a wonderful area. We were on a private terrace outside lovely! So happy we came here for my 69th bday! Will definitely come here again and again.

Staff was courteous, attentive and provided excellent recommendations. Hot lobster roll was bomb!
Fried clams with belly was great but could have more clams and less fries. Steamers was pretty good. We had both as appetizers along with Parker House rolls. Lobster roll (hot) was delicious, Cole slaw needed a little more tang for my taste so I added a bit of malt vinegar.
First time ordering here and I regret it… I should have DINED IN!! The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful!!! Ordered the Fish and Chips, Hot Fish for pickup and it was delicious! Will be ordering here and dining in frequently 👍. Cheers 🙌!!
