We sat at the bar for happy hour. Our only complaint was that the lobster rolls are very overpriced for being so small, a half lobster roll should not cost $20. But the sliders were a great deal, as was the wine. And you gotta love a place that serves clam cakes and chatters.
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board is because we encountered a somewhat snippy host upon checking in early for our reservation. His tone was a bit high-handed and very much not inviting when we asked if we could wait at the bar, etc. But the other host that night was so lovely and professional.
Solid experience. Food was good. Service was excellent. Cute place that reminds me of an east coast restaurant on the strand.
This is one of our favorite neighborhood spots, the food is delicious and the service is always top notch!
This is the BEST SEAFOOD IN ALL OF LOS ANGELES! Best food, best staff and great place to go! Don't bother with any other place in LA! Connie and Ted's from beginning to end is just the BEST!
I met my 2 friends there for brunch: it was their first time there, and they both ordered the Joanne's fish and chips and it came with French fries: they absolutely loved their dish! This time I had the Crab and lobster omelette with the heure blanc in the side: it was such a delight! It was light and scrumptious, and it came with 2 toasts! The lobster and the crab were so fresh and delicious! I ll definitely order that again I just adore that place truly! My favorite manager Randi was not there this time: I missed her friendliness and mms contact❗️

Connie and Ted has to be one of the best seafood restaurants around. Everything is so fresh and lovely. I love the laid-back atmosphere. It is a noisy restaurant so if you have someone who has trouble hearing, this may not be a great place for it. I find so many restaurants now with all the hard surfaces and nothing to do in the sound with have lots of noise. That said it's a wonderful place with excellent food and service
My son found this spot will searching for lobster 🦞 rolls. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. This place is a must, make sure to make a reservation. Will be back before our LA trip ends 😬

Excellent experience - spot on service and food quality. The fish and chips was hot and crispy and made with quality fish - the tartar sauce was very tasty as well. Favorite part of the meal was the chowder sampler - a small cup of Manhattan, New England and Broth Style Chowder - although could have been served a bit warmer. Parker House Rolls were a home run as well. Highly recommended. Valet parking was $17 but there is street parking.
