Absolutely love this place! I’ve been twice now and it just keeps getting better. The atmosphere is stunning — modern, cool, and effortlessly stylish — the kind of space you actually want to linger in. The food is creative and full of flavor, with unique combinations that really work. And I have to mention the grilled bread — it’s seriously addictive and my favorite thing on the menu. There is a real tree in the middle of the courtyard of the hi-fi lounge with an open ceiling! The hostess Nadia, actually remembers….and is so sweet! Simply fantastic food in a beautiful space.

New restaurant in West Hollywood. Drinks / wine were great, along with the service. Menu seemed limited and slightly overpriced for what you get. Worth a try.

Great to have Sean Brock here locally bringing us fantastic dishes. Our meal was excellent. Scallops were sublime and the steak was full of different but wonderful flavors. The cocktails were imaginative and right on point matching well with our starters. Will be back again.

11/10. Run, don't walk. Farmer's market freshness and inventiveness combined with the chicest, Mexico City-esque vibe/atmosphere. Excellent service, too.

Bland, overpriced, over hyped. This is the stereotypical LA restaurant where you pay hundreds of dollars for nothing. Whoever advertised this as a good restaurant should get fired. We had to get fast food afterwards to get some kind of flavor and sustenance

A friend and I had made reservations a month or so ago and were overall pleased with our experience! The restaurant’s design is exceptionally and comfortable, great music. The food was good, but nothing we thought we had to have again. Great wine list! The service did leave something to be desired, as the server struggled to remember that I have an allergy and I had to send a dish back to the kitchen that had nuts on it. Overall a great time, but spent time worried about my allergy.

First time at Darling. Great service, interesting menu, inventive and thoughtful preparations with menu apparently changing monthly. Plates ideally for sharing. Hokkaido scallops were particularly delicious. DJ and music with turn table a big component of the atmosphere although a bit difficult to communicate across a table of 5.
Can’t wait to try next month’s menu.

I went here for a small family dinner and was very pleased by both the quality of the service and the food. Our server was excellent, making sure we had everything we needed. The bar had a few people working on what seemed to be a chill night, so one of the bartenders, Dan, maintained our table's drinks and delivered the highest quality of hospitality! Shoutout to Dan!

Probably one of the better meals I’ve had in LA in a while. We started with the tomato and stone fruit salad, which I wouldn’t normally order, and it was refreshing and delightful as hell.
The burger was perfect - juicy, cooked just right, and set the bar pretty high for any other burger. They only make a certain amount a night, so if it’s gone, it’s gone.
The strip steak with black truffle hollandaise was next level. That sauce was slap-your-mom good. (Though I would never.)
Cocktails were excellent. They were creative without being weird, and strong without tasting like it. I’m a bourbon girl, so I went with the Corn cocktail. Ended up having two. And our waitress (kicking myself for not remembering her name) was the best. She actually knew the menu inside and out, which was impressive.
This place has it together. Great food, great drinks, great people. I’ll be back.

We had the Abolone dish which was incredible! Go early for the burger. The menu is lean yet packs a bunch. Vibes are dope and service was superb.

Halibut was super dry and overcooked. The cocktails were inventive and staff was superb and fast! Some of the dishes need a lot of work. Abalone and Artichokes give me hope they can fix it.

The space looks great and love the decor but the food really fell short. The menu was limited and didn't really give a clear idea of their theme. The service was mediocre, with servers bringing out the food being a bit aggressive.

Unless the quality of the food improves, it will be Soulmate #2.
The vibe is significantly better than the food. We ordered pretty much the entire menu and the best dishes were the “lettuces” and the tomato salad, and the pork belly. The Hallibut had a strong fishy smell and to be very honest, I make a much better steak at home.
The space is beautiful and the cocktails were great but the food left a lot to be desired!
