Overall, we had a really nice dinner, but I would not classify Drake’s as fine dining, more so upscale casual in a really beautiful and well designed setting. I am giving a 4/5 because I feel the price did not match the quality. We spent just over $200 for our dinner, without alcohol, and I spent less across the street at Cecconi’s the prior weekend and received higher quality food. As mentioned the interior is really beautiful. It looks like classic Hollywood or a Chicago speakeasy. It’s covered in large murals of famous Hollywood celebrities both young and old in a very dark and red lit setting. There is a very large Art Deco bar in the center of the restaurant. We sat at a booth on the edge and were able to view the entire space which we loved. Our server Breanna was really great and very attentive, she did a great job. They don’t have a parking lot so it will be $15 for valet or it will be metered street parking which we were able to find two blocks away for our 7PM Saturday dinner. They have a fairly large menu with a lot of classic comfort foods. They bill themselves as a steakhouse, but everyone I know who has visited did not order steak, so I didn’t consider doing that for my meal. I started off with the Lobster Escargot and thought it had some great flavors, but it really was lacking in quantity of lobster and the overall size of the dish. It had nice flavors, but just very few of them. Next we tried the Vince Scully Fries, which had some great toppings, but the fries were nothing special. They tasted the same as pretty much any standard restaurant. For my entrée, I chose the Chicken Parmesan and thought it had a nice Ragu top, but the chicken was a bit overcooked and had zero moisture left. It was overly crispy and I really needed to drink a lot to finish it. It was no Dan Tana’s Chicken Parm. Finally for dessert we had my favorite dish of the night, which was the 21 Layer Strawberry Cake. It’s not nearly as good as the Red Velvet from The Ivy but it was honestly very good and was both of our favorite bites of the night.Overall a nice place, but I would suggest going for drinks rather than food, considering there are many well-known restaurants in this area, such as Cecconi’s and Craigs. I would recommend for a date or a dinner with friends or family, not so much a work dinner.Parking: valet or metered street parking

Burned Pizza 2/10 the ozzy pizza was good but burned, Absolutely rude service so many times we wanted to talk to the manager and the waitress lied and said she stopped by at our table when she didn’t at all, Pasta za za tasted bad, and the 24$ slice of cake tasted like corn bread and they change $10 for WATER??? 1 STAR .

Everything was so wonderful. The ambience, the food was stellar, the cocktails delicious and our server Jared was by far the best waiter I've ever had in LA. Great recommendations and so attentive. The Izzy pizza and the lobster escargot were definitely standouts! Will definitely be going back.

The food was fantastic. Classic pizza ,martinis , Mac and cheese LOBSTER , although there wasn't very much - sashimi was meh .. wedge salad YES honey truffle chicken YES ❤️. Terry was a great server second visit will definitely return ?

We waited 30 minutes for our waiter to come take our order. We had to go get the water pitcher ourselves and pour water because she was just absolutely not coming by our table and she spent 90% of the time talking to the people by the table next to us.

I come here often and LOVE the food and the vibe. It's perfect. Great drinks as well! My only issue are the hostesses. I requested AHEAD to sit at a booth, when I arrived, I was seated at a table for 2. I requested to move to a booth (which is where I normally sit, also considering there were 4 open booths at the time). She said they were saving them for larger parties, but 30 mins into our meal, sat a party of 2 at the booth. BIG problem!!!! I could have handled it a different way, but chose to give her a pass since it was my birthday and I was feeling friendly. Otherwise, I love the place!

Vibey place, but compliments unfortunately end there. Checked in for our reservation, and hostess asked us to wait at the bar and she would retrieve us. I order a cocktail while we wait, which is too sweet and $24+ before tip (!). A half hour goes by and we finally go check to see what the hold-up is, especially given half the tables were empty. Hostess shrugged and said she “got busy” (too busy to…seat reservations who have checked in? Isn’t that, like, her whole job?), i.e. she forgot about us; no apology given. We are gruffly sat down right next to an occupied two top one foot from us when, again, restaurant isn’t that busy. Waitress comes, asks if we want sparkling or still; we tell her tap and she nevertheless still brings and charges us for bottled still water. Food comes out fast and hot but burger is well over well done (our first clue should have been that we never got asked how we wanted it cooked…). Only bright spot was the very sweet and friendly food runner; Jesus, put that guy at the front of the house, that would be a customer service improvement. Anyway, moral of the story is, don’t go out in WeHo. Save your money and eat at a decent restaurant in the Arts District or Silverlake or something.

I gave this another chance but,... Food quality couldn't get worse! I prefer a frozen pizza over this! What a shame for a restaurant looking so good to have a menu and chef of such low quality! Drinks are ok but to wait 45mins to sit at the bar or get a table and have that food! Never again! Sorry
