First time trying Dtown - and I have been walking by it since it opened. I mean, it’s just another pizza joint, right? Wrong! They do things differently here and it’s a welcome change. I recommend that you find out for yourself. You will be happy. And well fed.
D-town in #WeHo was worth crossing the 405 for. The Michiganders in our crew said the #meatball pizza was the best they’d ever head. I am wishing we got more of the seasonal street corn one because it reheated under the broiler just fine the next day. We loved the chewy yet airy dough and the edges that taste like they were deep-fried. This is what happens when a chef opens a pizza place.
Dtown pizzeria has been my go to pizza for years now. I used to go when they were still located inside of Phorage, and go even more now that they have their own location.
Chef Ososky has absolutely nailed the deep dish pizza in every way imaginable. With new specials and timeless classics that keep me coming back. The Haole has quickly become my pizza anywhere, and their new summer corn/elote pizza is out of this world.
