This place has lost its charm completely. I went in on Friday, July 11 since I had friends visiting from out of town. For 12 drinks, I paid $400 (including a 22% tip, which was the middle suggested option). The two bartenders who helped me were kind. The drinks were average. Overall, the staff was lazy and rude. Specifically, the employee in the suit who appeared to be some type of manager kicked everyone out over 35 minutes before the posted close time and refused to allow customers to use the facilities (e.g., restrooms). In any event, the place was slow on a Friday night and the general consensus from random strangers was that EP&LP had gone downhill completely. Barely any people there, super slow, and embarrassing to take tourists to.

Never go back again!! The bouncer was no manner!! We returned to meet up with our friends around 1 am last night(tuesday). The bouncer did not let us in and said it was closed. We asked nicely why? Last time we came they closed at 2 am and the app said it was closed at 2 am. He said we have the right to close early in the slow night without giving notifications to anyone. I wonder if the bar closed but we still can get in to see our friend. But he still won't let us in and talked to us in a rude way which is why I'm not surprised why it's a slow night for you. It's because you put the guy who has no manners to greet all your customers like this at the front door.
