This place exceeded expectations. The food quality and portions are outstanding. Don’t let the 4 stars fool you, this is a 5 star place!

Flippers is great! Went on a Saturday morning around peak brunch time and we didn’t even have to wait for a table & food came out quickly. Price is a tiny bit high but it’s a unique trendy food and it’s LA so not unexpected. Definitely recommend!

My bf and I live around the corner and finally tried this place. They close at 4 we got there around 2:45. There was a good amount of covered outdoor seating which worked for us, the inside had a bartop and seemed like limited tables, maybe 3. We shared the flippers original soufflé pancake ($17) and a side of x crispy bacon ($6). It took about 15 mins (as expected) and worth the wait. The texture was amazing and the maple cream was so good. It wasn’t too sweet and we both agreed it didn’t need extra syrup which was provided on table. I also got the “springtime” mimosa ($13) which was supposed to be peach but it tasted like a regular mimosa to me. The service was attentive maybe a little rushed as they were breaking down to close but understandable. Though they did seat a 6 top around 3:45 so maybe they aren’t too strict on that. We will be back for the soufflé pancake but likely won’t order cocktails.

I love this place. My first time here I lost my glasses. They started to help me look for them using the camera. They went above and beyond. I cant believe they would go as far as that to help me!

Flippers has a great location that dosent feel like it is on a busy street and just a relaxing vibe. Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. Being a restaurant that focuses exclusively on breakfast staples you might expect that they would affect them rather than alter them in ways to almost make them unrecognizable. The crouqe madam while on the outside looked like you would expect on the inside there was green and the meat and cheese were both in chunks, it was almost inedible. The pancakes are decent though the soufflé pancakes go a little too far to try to show that they have some creativity. When a restaurant wants to serve basics, they got a master the basics I feel as though flippers jumped the shark a little bit and try to go in a super creative direction that has led the food to be just mediocre at best.

It's one of the best , if not the best, breakfast spots I have ever had. The food was delicious, and the presentation was amazing. Staff was friendly and very professional. Perfect day to eat breakfast outside as well.

I ordered a BLT from here on DoorDash. It’s absolutely amazing and sent me into another dimension. It was that good. I have never in my life left a review for any place of business, but I have to give Flipper’s 5 stars because the BLT is WOW.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Flippers. The staff were super friendly, even giving all of the loving and treats to my dog on the patio. They were super attentive to us as well the entire time. Wonderful service in a wonderful atmosphere! We ordered the Chicken & Waffle, and Eggs Benedict, along with two Cold Brews. The dishes were beautiful, generously portioned, and delicious. I loved the strawberry butter and maple cream that came with the Chicken & Waffle, and the pancakes under the Eggs Benedict were delightful, light and fluffy.
This is a solid place. Don’t discount it. Prices were decent for the area as well. Parking is a little bit of a pain, but worth it. Definitely add this place to your list of Brunch locations!

Been here a few times and experienced food that was average at best but substandard in reality. Each time I asked the servers for anything, even just for silverware, I was treated as if I were a major inconvenience. They’re not the most responsive in checking in with their clientele throughout the meal. Also, I’m almost certain I saw a manager verbally berate a customer in the middle of the restaurant with no regard for the others around her. Overall I wouldn’t recommend due to the lack of professionalism and the food.

Been there a couple times and the food is mid at best. Mostly underwhelming especially for the price. However the owner was really what pushed me to leave a bad review- I respectfully tried resolving an issue with her and she yelled at me in the middle of the restaurant in front of staff and customers. I’ve never been so humiliated at a restaurant.
