Sandwiches are about balance. This was not it - dripping in balsamic which took over all other flavors and the chicken was dry, tough & flavorless. If the bread was good, I couldn’t tell you cause everything else was not. At nearly $20 for a sandwich I probably won’t be back 🫤

Stumbled upon this small deli while walking on Melrose, initially wanted a burger but ended up having a Spicy P (chicken pesto sandwich) from this joint. Flavourful combo of two type of pesto sauce and great bread, but the service was subpar. Ordered and was told it’ll be a 20min wait, which was fine by us but then wasn’t quite clear how they were going to get the order to us. It’s a very busy place, loads of take-away bags being picked up. Didn’t get a receipt or a number so after waiting ages, I decided to go up to the counter and our sandwich was waiting, lukewarm. Delicious? Sure, but it will take more than that for a 5 star.

Got the Chicken Parm bc someone posted a year ago and said it was amazing. Their photo of their sandwich looked nothing like mine. I just got mine 10 minutes ago, I waited in line to get the sandwich (so it should be nice and hot) and I opened it as soon as I got to my car.
Marinara sauce was cold, the cheese was rubbery, the chicken itself was skinny and overcooked. The only 'fresh' thing in this sandwich was the one piece of basil. My jaw hurts right now from trying to chew this sandwich. Didn't even attempt to finish the other half. This place is 3000% not worth it.
Not worth 17 something. I shoulda just went to sycamore

Got food poisoning from the chicken Caesar wrap :( I’ve seen a few other people say the same thing so please look into the quality of ingredients or your kitchen practices

The most miserable staff, dirty and disgusting people working. Nasty people only - if you ask questions, they answer like dogs.

The first sandwich I tried at Ggiata was the burr (tuna) and I have had a hard time ordering anything else. Though I am sure the others are equally tasty. Friendly service and a low-key pleasant atmosphere.

Love the food, but this time I want to give a BIG shout out to Ilian the manager and his team. I had an issue with Postmates and although it was my mistake, he was super eager to help, very understanding, thorough and overall provided an excellent costumer service. Really really appreciate the help and positive attitude!

I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was going well until I had a couple of really weird bites of chicken. The chicken was really hard and tasted VILE. It was so nasty that I had to literally spit it out on the floor. I immediately felt sick and disgusted. It's actually so sad because the sauce, wrap, and seasoning was perfection. They're definitely using some cheap, low quality chicken.

Stopped by to grab a Chicken Caesar Wrap after seeing it hyped on TikTok and I was absolutely not disappointed. It was delicious but definitely needed the extra side of dressing. The location is a bit rough, but I’d easily recommend anyone stop by for one of the best caesar wraps I’ve ever had.

Pro tip: get a chocolate chip cookie or two - they’re VERY good.

I picked up the Eggplant Parm at 1pm on a Saturday, with a 40 minute wait. The staff were super friendly, which was a great start. However, the sandwich was good but definitely nothing special. The bread was dry (slightly stale?) and the fillings were all congealed. The only saving grace was the taste. At $32 plus tax for two sandwiches I’m not sure I would come back.

Amazing food and amazing service. I’ve only started going to Ggiata recently and each time I go I’m thinking about the next time I’m gonna pay another visit. I’m currently a devout Spicy P enjoyer and want to venture out to something new next time. I tried the Arancini per the recommendation of Cristian and Alyssa and I was blown away! The team is super helpful, kind, funny, and patient which I really appreciate! If I ever have people from out of town asking where they can grab an outstanding meal in LA, I’m sending them to the Weho Ggiata!

Ordered a wrap and was disgusted to find metal shavings of some kind inside. I almost swallowed these after taking a bite, if you happen to order from here please check your food
