This was a lovely experience. As someone who eats meat, I was afraid to not get full or enjoy the food. The Sweet Potato Flautas changed my mind! I mean wow!! So delicious!! and the Esquite??!! Wow! So good! I brought my friend who is vegetarian for her bday, and I wanted her to have a nice meal. But wow! I enjoyed it too!!! The food is great, the patio is lovely and just all positive! We will come back for sure!
I love this place. The food is always great. I have tried most dishes in the menu over the years and none have disappointed. Probably can widen their wine selection a bit, and moderate the prices, but it is still a great spot.
I love the decor and maternal vibe of this place. Their lunch special for $25 was prrfect variety of food. The mushrooms' texture was a bit off in my taco, but very yummy. Biodegradable take home containers. Thumbs up!
Food was tasteless, French toast was just toast cooked in oil, or that's what it tasted like. Coffee was decent, and my smoothie was served in a kids plastic cup with a lid and straw. Overpriced for the experience. My sister's order was wrong. There were 5 of us, none of us finished our food. I took 2 bites of mine and left it, my sister, same. We had to go elsewhere to eat because we all left hungry. Good location, lots of open tables, that should tell you something. The place next door was packed and food looked great, regretted not booking there instead. Vegetarian doesn't necessarily mean healthy, milk options were almond and soy milk, if you research what that is made.of, it's all oil. No thanks! Our server was ok, not great, overall, not what I expected.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drinks at Gracias Madre. Ate there on a Saturday night. While I had a reservation for a table, I decided to sit at the bar with my friend. The bartender was very helpful and friendly and made a great mezcalrita. Ordered the guac and chips, of course, which were tasty. Had the mushroom quesadilla for dinner and was impressed with the quality. Good value for a WeHo restaurant. I would go back.
I had dinner here last night with 4 friends. We had a blast! Our server was so kind, incredibly patient, total professional, classy and warm. Outstanding service! The food was incredible! Fresh, quality, healthy foods going into my body that tastes delicious!! You honestly can't tell it's vegan, it's just yummy good! We ended up closing down the restaurant and we were never rushed, never “kicked out” Now, don't get wrong, they had every right to ask us to leave since we were there WAY past closing. But they never did, Bless them. Just the most friendly, professional service all around. Bonus: Outdoor ambience at night is just beautiful. :)
Outstanding food and service. Lovely atmosphere. Everything we ordered was excellent. We were a big group; we ordered lots and shared all our plates. It was easy to hear everyone. Plenty of parking options.
Outstanding service and delicious food. It's vegan!!! Don't forget and ask for a meat dish like I heard others request. Lovely space, great bar and very attentive staff. Our waiter was truly wonderful. Food was excellent. Well-priced, and Taco Tuesday menu is a deal not to be missed.
Staff was stellar and food was tasty. Pozole was incredibly flavorful and flautas with sweet potato were very good. Portions were large and prices reasonable. The ambiance was lively but not loud - very pretty in the patio. Entire staff was very friendly
I am not a vegetarian or a vegan, which is GM specialty - and for a good reason! Food is fantastic, complimented by amazing service. I'm looking forward to going back!

The food and service were both great! My only peeve is that you make customers pay by the app which charges a fee. That shouldn't be passed on to the customers. It's your choice to use the app, not ours.
This is one of our fav restaurants when we visit LA. This time it didn't seem to be as good. The guac was noticeably smaller and food was just ok. Plus the website says to park at the Design Center for $6 but is inaccurate. It's $18 and the same as valet. Disappointing.
Great food! The queso fundido did not disappoint. The Oaxaca bowl was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu.
Lovely service and food, the heater was a bit close to our table and therefore pretty hot. Very handy to have a vegan menu with my gluten-free partner
We were very disappointed with the overall experience, as I was excited about taking my daughter there for her visit and it has always been a favorite for me. First, we ordered drinks, but they never came, and we had to ask several times. Sangria and Chardonnay. Order - starter of fries - came in a reasonable time. Dinner - we had to ask three times where our food was coming, as it took so long. We never saw our waiter, so we asked several different people when we could expect to receive our order. Finally came. My Quesadilla (mushroom) was awful - I only ate one piece. The excessive amount of mushroom ingredients made it too mushy, including the Quesadilla. Oaxaca Bowl - my daughter thought it was not what she anticipated. I tasted it, and it was also not the quality I am used to at the restaurant. I left a 20% tip, telling the waiter how awful everything was, including the service which he really didn't deserve. However, I am in the hospitality industry, and I want to support staff. We felt because they had a group in the back and the patio was full, that our waiter was working at those tables, and we were forgotten. The evening was disappointing.
