Guisados in West Hollywood has tasty tacos with great flavor, but the overall experience was just okay. The place was super loud, hard to have a conversation, and it wasn’t as clean as I expected. The tables were sticky, and the floor looked like it needed a good sweep. The staff was decent, and the food came out fairly quickly, but the atmosphere took away from the meal. If you’re just grabbing food to go, it might be worth it, but for dining in, I expected a bit more.
Delicious tacos, taste very similar to authentic CDMX street food. Great variety and super efficient service. Restaurant is located in a parking lot, which kind of kills the vibe but the food is still definitely worth it!
Came in from Chicago to try, steak taco was excellent and it's extremely close with Chicago, love the structural integrity of the tortilla, the Verde chicken tamale however was dry and crumbled. If it was a little more firm and moist it would have been great but maybe I just had a bad tamale I'll have to go back to try. But this is not to discredit the food, the taco and the stewing process is well worth it. Packed with flavor and now I need to try one of everything...
