A small, local spot with plenty of vegan options. Two brothers; front and back of house. Super comfy, feels like how restaurants used to and should be. Fortunate to experience it during one of the open streets events where the road in front was closed to automobiles. Really added to the European feel of Hedley’s.The vegan dishes I had (see photos!) were simple and delicious. Perfect for taking in the neighborhood and just hanging out on their porch.

This restaurant is delicious. I ate here when I visited Los Angeles and thought that it was perfect. The interior is beautiful and really feels different from the clubby WeHo restaurants.

Horrible owner who goes out of his way to antagonize the homeless community.

This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant that has a selection of good vegetarian and plant based options too. Good to support a local business.

Hedley’s has been my favorite place for yeeeaaaars. I eat there at least twice a week. Nowhere is it cozier, more wholesome and yummier. I love Hedley’s creative flair which results in healthy and delicious dishes. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options too. Hedleys is my ideal restaurant. Unequaled in LA imo.

Having read the reviews with 5 stars and the setting looking nice and intimate I went for dinner w my girlfriend. I personally misread the last serving time as 10 p.m. but on Wednesday it was 9 p.m. and my reservation was at 8:45... that said the person working there appeared annoyed and was very stern and stiff and not warm and welcoming.. simply wanting to probably close and go home...not enjoyable of an experience. The worst is when you feel like you're an interruption of their day as opposed to being treated like a guest. The food was okay and quite bland. We had to ask for salt and pepper to be delivered to the table and again asked for peppermill as opposed to a shaker. Zero sensitivity from the waiter perhaps he was the owner as well... the only staff person there. The description of the brussel sprouts on the menu was very interesting, which we ordered but when delivered were saturated in oil... perhaps an issue of them sitting all day/ night until delivery to the table... clearly not made fresh nor to order. The food quality was unexpectedly fair verses the great reviews. At the end of the day with a $65 bottle of wine. And tip my experience was $175 for two people not $$ as described on the OpenTable app. In addition I shared with him (only staff) I was an OpenTable reservation (the app prepared me to believe the place was going to be busy) and he did not check me in so I have still not received the proper points. Reinforcing his attitude being more disturbed we were there... than welcoming. They need to learn that the customer is the reason they are there and not some type of interruption; a key to the preservation of their business. Final review: Not recommended

This is a great place. I'm always torn about giving really good reviews to restaurants that i don't want to be overcrowded, but this time I must! Four of us came fairly early for dinner so it was quiet and we could chat with the server as well. We were choosing a place as a compromise between meat eaters and vegetarians (and note that vegans, not just vegetarians, can eat very well there). It's a small menu, with very wide and interesting choices of tastes and ingredients both. We ordered turkey meatloaf, vegan eggplant/mushroom pasta "Bolognese," and Moroccan chickpea stew. plus two desserts (the chocolate bread pudding and something recommended by another diner called "Malva" pudding). All the food and service were excellent We will definitely return here often. And amazingly, It's very reasonably priced, too.

We've been coming here for years and absolutely love it every time. The remodel is gorgeous.

We had brunch here and it was great. The service was quick. The owner was our server and he was super nice an attentive. I cane with my friend Francisco. The meal with the eggs and Brussels sprouts were amazing and so were the blueberry pancakes. Yum yum. I will definitely be back.
