Our November 8th 2024 experience with Hugo's was a tragic letdown. The Pasta Mama (vegan) was nearly all noodle with less than a sprinkling of egg substitute. The chicken pesto sandwich was hardly more than a bun. I may be exaggerating but the sandwich ingredients were disappointingly sparse. Hugo's has been our go-to spot for quality food for over a decade. This is the first time that they let us down. Taking their consistency through the years as a sign that they make their food with intension, we will look at this latest order as their new norm. Sadly, we will explore other options in the future.

Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes with a vegetarian and even vegan option. Those options are still there but based on our recent experience, the quality may be lacking now for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

My plate of Gluten Free Mac and Cheese really had no flavor and was very small in size
My boyfriend who eats lactose free also ordered MAC and CHEESE but we still haven't understood what they brought us: a really small and poor dish!
Furthermore the place is very expensive!

Quick seating and service. A very good menu selection at very reasonable prices. The food excellent with a very nice presentation. I have been here multiple times and will continue to go back.

Parking: I have never had a problem with findibg a spot in the parking lot.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. Not the Hugo's I remember, at least for breakfast.
Server Jericha greeted me, offered me a table for two, and I asked if I could have the next table over, a four-top. She gave me the table as she complained that her four-tops were being filled by single people.
Come on... The place is 80% empty, you are in West Hollywood where most gay people are single.
The menu mostly Mexican flavored choices for breakfast. Food quality, presentation and taste, way below standard.
The coffee was more like dirty water, very weak, and no flavor/aroma.
I would NOT recommend this place, and I will NOT go back.
