Absolutely obsessed with Juniper at the 1 hotel, the ambiance vibe is spectacular! Great for relaxing, working, brunch, dinner with friends there’s a vibe for everything, the cocktails are pretty good and their truffle fries amazing! They also have a live band on some days and there’s valet! If you like taking pictures this is the best spot to do it.
Nice vibe. Easy relaxed. A little loud, but not bad.
Really cool atmosphere and good menu! Would love to see more non alcoholic options on the drink menu, even bottled water, sparkling water, teas.
I’d say a 3.5, but the only bolster is the decor. They don’t do any outside service in “the winter,” which is a shame because they have heaters ALL over the patio seating. Would not recommend for those avoiding C-19 in the colder months. I’m sure it poppin and fine in the summer though
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life.
We came in for Thanksgiving because they had both a vegan and a traditional pre fixe menu advertised on their website. When I asked for the vegan menu, they brought me food that was completely different than the menu posted on their website. It ended up being a giant bowl of Brussels sprouts and four bites of grilled mushrooms. They charged me $125 for all of this.
This is pure robbery in no uncertain terms. I wouldn’t recommend anybody eat here ever.
I stay at the 1 hotel monthly for at least 7 days at a time. I recently was at the bar with my wife and we ordered 2 drinks. We had plans to have more here but the waitress Berry was very rude and ignorant. I asked to pay cash and was told I can pay cash but they did not have change. Which in fact I have gotten change in the past but they have to go to valet. So I said never mind and I decided to pay by card. When receiving my receipt I noticed a gratuity charge for only two drinks this was something I’ve never seen before. So I didn’t make a fuss I paid it. Added $5 tip on top of it. It didnt sit well with me at all. So I read the receipt and I did not meet the criteria to be charged gratuity. They seem to just help themselves to tips when this isn’t proper practice. I brought it to one waitress (Christina) who kinda made a fuss as if what I was saying wasn’t true. She told me how berry was in the the industry for so long and would never do such a thing. When I went to show her the receipt she talked very loud and made it seem as if I was a crazy customer. She told me she was disengaging from this conversation so I asked for the bar manager. Who she got and when I was met from her she told me mistakes happen. This was no mistake. By far this is probably a scheme that they run on their customers unbeknownst to them. I do not think anyone in this situation acted professionally. Although the manager said she would remove the gratuity I don’t think she understand the principle of adding on gratuity to someone’s check when it’s not policy. It’s stealing

We stayed at the hotel very nice design loved everything about it. Decided to eat at the lounge. The server/ hostess was non personal and snobby. I was there with my two young daughters and niece. We ordered like they were adults spent a fair amount of money on dinner the food and environment was very nice. The service lacked or at least we were treated like a nuisance. My girls have been eating out since they were babies and have very good manners. We were dressed nicely as we were sat at our table the server requested proof of payment before any greeting, we ordered our food it came out in a timely manner. The food was amazing. We were never checked on during our meal we ran out of water and the dirty plates sat at our table long after we finished eating.
The kids were getting antsy and began quietly playing in the pillows. The bouncer came to our table asking them to stop I replied what about the empty water glasses and dirty plates. No one cares about that?
A manager came to our table and was very polite and cleared the dirty plates and took a moment to have a personal conversation.
The menu states they add a 20% gratuity to parties over six people. We are four total.
Our bill arrives with an auto gratuity added. I have worked in fine dining and have never not left a more than fair gratuity even when the food and service is terrible.
Fact is we were dressed nicely, guests at the hotel and spent good money for our time at the location. We were treated like someone who had wondered in off the streets.
The server/hostess lacks the personality and skill set to be working in a restaurant.

Phoebe went above and beyond. Normally I stay away from hotel bars but the taste and the quality of drinks here was beyond top notch. Local, tourist doesn’t matter this bar has some of the best service in the area and you can trust any of the bar tenders to treat you right.

Loved this. Cozy yet open and spacious-- great for small groups, dates, or solo book reading. Drinks were creative and delicious. I ordered roasted cauliflower -- wasn't great, it was cold, but the wait staff handled it all gracefully, and I settled to dessert. Worth it. I would go back in a heart beat.
