Since my last review of this restaurant about 2 or 2 1/2 years ago, this is the 1st time I went back. I should also say that we used to go to Katana literary every week at the very least, 1 time and i experienced a very unprofessional behavior from the hostesses which I wrote about and to the management's credit, they wrote back to me and askex me to go back with my guests as their guest, which i didn't do but I appreciated it. Thank you, management, for reaching out to me. So this time, my experience was very different than my last time there. The 2 hostesses, although they didn't know who I was since reservation wasn't under my name, *Arica & Rushil were super professional and very nice as well as the young lady bartender "Maya" who was super nice and extremely charming. Anyway, thank you to the management for looking into it and being very professions. Now, to tell you about the food, honesty, if you want it all, great ambiance, great service and servers as well as the boss boys, and especially the food and it's presentation is fanatic. So again, thank you for a wonderful evening.
Vegetarian options: I think that they have plenty of dishes that a vegetarian person can enjoy
Dietary restrictions: Yes, absolutely. The waiter literary asks whether you have any dietary restrictions
Parking: So parking is a bit challenging but your best bet if you couldn't find street meter parking, they have valet

A nice date night spot. Everything was quite good and our server Crystal was so nice and helpful going through the menu. They sat us out on the patio which was a little cold but the heaters made it comfortable enough. We only picked one item that Crystal recommended and it was the best. Maybe we should have gone with all her recommendations. lol

I came into Katana tonight for a nice dinner with a couple relatives I hadn’t seen for a while, and we had the most amazing experience. Konrad was our excellent server, and he was wonderful from both recommending dishes to surprising us with dessert for my birthday. I’m definitely going to be coming back with friends soon, Katana is an experience no one should miss out on!!

Love Katana ! Crystal ( server ) was great. Hostess Erica was so inviting and told us about the must order dishes. Just delicious and a perfect dinner.
Great dining experience overall! DJ was our server and was a total pro. We got the tasting menu for LA Dining Week and every dish was delicious. The smokey yuzu margarita was incredible - strong flavors but extremely well balanced.
I have been going to Katana for many years now and no joke the food is always on point. They have the best Leche martini in town hands down. Other specials is the Katana rolll and the crispy tuna roll but are just to die for. The vibe is always fun here as well. I recommend sitting outside but inside is not bad either. If you in La this one is a must

This is by far one of the best restaurants in the area. Our waitress Margot was so awesome!. She chose the cocktails for us and it was a great surprise every time. She got it perfectly right. The dark vibe of the place and the design are also very unique and cozy. Every single dish was heaven! They have existed for decades, and there is a reason why. Thank you very much, Margot and Katana staff. Highly recommend

Love coming to Katana! Alyssa and DJ served me, they were very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the menu. I got the lychee martini to start off, it’s delicious! Per their recommendations, I also go the brussels sprout chips , hammer roll , and fluke orange, all very good! I will definitely be bringing friends and family to Katana when they visit. Thanks to DJ and Alyssa for their help in making our visit so special!
