The food took way too long to come out, and I specifically asked for no spicy, but they still brought spicy food. My friend got sick because she's sensitive to it. I feel like the waiter wasn't paying attention at all, and everything was super slow.
Food and service is exceptional. It is definitely pricey, but hey, it's LA. Every dish was a hit. As others have mentioned, the service was outstanding. I can't recall a restaurant where the wait staff were so attentive. You definitely want to be seated in the main dining area. Unfortunately we were sat in the back/side area which lacks the ambiance and 'buzz' of the main dining area.
Wow! Another great night at Koi. My wife and I went for our anniversary, and the restaurant excelled. Every dish was a 10. As always, the staff were professional, attentive, and very friendly. WE LOVE KOI!
Returned after many years, and then though they moved to a slightly smaller place next door, it is still fantastic!!! Decor, food, service, vibe - all so worth it!
From the warm greeting by the hostess to the exceptional service by Emily and attentive check-ins from Zach in management, everything about our experience at KOI was outstanding. The food was absolutely incredible — beautifully presented and full of flavor. Highly recommend KOI for an unforgettable dining experience!

The manager and host were extremely rude. We unfortunately won't return because of our interactions with them. The food and ambiance were fine. We had to wait 45 minutes for our table, even with our reservation.
The service was great. I was there for my birthday and they were so patient with us because we took forever to order because we were talking so much. The food was good, not great and a bit expensive for the amount of food. The decor and ambience was beautiful
The Best💫

We really loved the service here. My partner and I were dressed pretty casually since we usually don’t come to LA and had been visiting museums all day, but we wanted a nice dinner. The service was amazing. Our server gave us great recommendations and the food was delicious. They were quick to check in, clear plates, and make sure we had everything we needed. The whole experience felt very welcoming.
The food was excellent. I especially loved the Kiiro Roll, Koi Crispy Rice, and the Pepper Steak. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. This was one of our favorite dining experiences in LA and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal with attentive service.

Everything was five star! Beautiful decor and ambiance. Hip place but not for just the younger crowd. Service was friendly and I loved how the servers work the entire floor and not just their sections. Team effort like in a Michelin star restaurant. They have a fabulous and extensive vegan menu too! The quality and taste of all the regular dishes were amazing too. We will be regulars now.
Best sushi in LA just wow

Every single bite here is absolutely enjoyable, and both the atmosphere and the service are incredibly good. Truly a gem!

The manager Ricky was extremely rude and unprofessional/ he attempted to charge for things we didn’t take and he was very unwelcoming.
