Nice food and stuff

We love coming to Kung Pao for happy hour and sharing a bunch of dishes. Their soups are a great start and the kimchi butter udon is my favorite main with the fried egg on top. Mei is an awesome server and we love seeing her when we visit. Other items we like are the fried rice, chicken wings, chicken lettuce cups.

Ordered thru door dash. For a place called kung pao bistro, youd think the kung pao chicken would at least be edible. Way too salty and barely any chicken for 20 bucks.

I use to like this restaurant until today, I had a take out order and the food was horrible, the sauce taste worst then Panda Express fake, pre made sauce. Panda Express actually taste better. Overly sweet, too salty, inedible greasy and gross.

When I called the owner he could care less and did not even offer to re cook or offer another chance for a service recovery. Owner could care less. It is a shame given that I have ordered catering, and patronized his restaurant for 3 years. He still could not event offer a credit for the horrible food I received. Worst customer experience, and I am in the hospitality industry. I'll tell all of my hotel counterparts never use this restaurant. The meat and food taste fake, weird mystery meat, cheap bottled sauce.

Do not go, and give them business! Support other restaurants that care, and have quality food.

I’m giving one star because they don’t deserve to be in business. They don’t care about customers and they literally do whatever they want whenever they want. They advertise late night happy hour starting at 9 pm and they will lock the door when they see you walking up and claim they closed early. The other night they closed at 8:15 just because it was raining and they felt like it. The food was good when they decided to be open however you never know what you can order, it will be up to your waitress.
Don’t waste your time driving there unless you call ahead to verify you can be served. Bad management which is such a shame but it explains why the place is empty when we did get in to eat. We are no longer surprised by the bad reviews. If you just want to be take out then be truthful on your website and menus, etc

This was the best food I’d had while visiting LA! The pork belly was crisp and well rendered! The Hawaiian fried rice was delicious and the perfect amount of shrimp and pork! The service was great and the price was even better! You need to go!

Amazing Happy Hour dinner. Got there at 5:50, deal ends at 6 and they still gave it to us. We got two appetizers, two entrees, and two cocktails for $45. great deal. kimchi butter noodles were super spicy and yummy.

The best local Chinese place. We only do takeout and probably have it once a week. Always very good food and it’s ready very quickly. So glad to have this place right around the corner.

Used to get Chinese takeout from a more popular place nearby, but recently discovered Kung Pao and it's so so good. The Cashew Nut Chicken is amazing. Haven't dined in but it's become the go-to spot for a takeout meal. Never disappoints.

I had a disappointing experience with the receptionist at this establishment. I ordered two items for pick-up, but after waiting 20 minutes, I was only given one. When I brought it to their attention, they claimed I had only been charged for one item. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my receipt, and they refused to resolve the issue. This felt unprofessional and left me dissatisfied with their service.
