Came to try a new boba spot out! They recommended us a good amount to try and had to try this fan favorite which is the tiger boba latte!

Lovely afternoon to catch up with my friend in weho. The owner Catherine and her son Anthony have a major asset over other high tea services you'll find in LA: warmness. From the first steps in, the experience was welcoming. Parking: typical street parking, but it wasn't too bad the Saturday afternoon I went and I found some parking right in the front. Ambience: the tea room is very unique compared to the other high tea dining rooms. The shabby chic curtains and petite chandeliers create a sense of coziness and quaintness. I love how small the place is. It's not a place to be seen, it's a place to enjoy. Service: Exceptional, Catherine greeted us by our name and her son Anthony did a great job at explaining all the dishes and teas to us. Food: Also great! Not as sophisticated as other high tea places, but very authentic and well presented. We had the classic high tea set which included a 3 tier sandwich plate, dessert, and of course tea. I can't wait to return to for another delightful afternoon at Le salon de the!

I ordered a high tea for mother's day and it was phenomenal ! everything was delicious and prepared with so much care. The service is outstanding , customized to your personal need/taste. the signature hot cocoa is divine. Bailey's creme brulee is sublime. I had ordered once in the past a dinner take out with pasta and chicken which was also super delicious . I highly recommend this place, the owners will care for you and go above and beyond, products are fresh and high quality. the place is warm and elegant. a must go to thank you !

Adorable place with the sweetest people running it. They're also very accommodating. I had a lovely high tea with a friend before the lockdown. I can't wait to go again once this ends.

Catherine's kindness and the overall delight of all staff members made this first visit a lovely one! My boyfriend and I had a reservation for 12:30pm on Valentine's Day last Friday, and it was such a treat. Catherine had made a note for us to have the Eiffel Tower corner when I called a few days in advance, and it was ready upon our arrival!

Introduction: For those who have been reading my reviews, it's no secret that my old haunt, the Rose Tree Cottage, fell from grace about two years ago [bad service]. Ever since then I have been trying to find a new High-Tea location. Le Salon de The is the answer to my prayers and here's why: High Tea: For $54, their High-Tea option, the patron gets a small tower of finger sandwiches, hot tea, and a plate of assorted desserts. All the ingredients used for the finger sandwiches are fresh: one can easily taste the ingredients' quality. I especially enjoy the mini caprese, French charcuterie with cherry tomato+ basil, and the smoked salmon finger sandwiches. The egg and cucumber finger sandwich, to my surprise, I find it to be quite good as well; usually I don't like eggs on my sandwiches but the eggs here are smooth and lightly creamy in texture. It pairs well with the cucumber. In terms of the desserts, I love their French macaroon and the chocolate tart with pureed chestnut filling. The French macaroon is the right size and the texture is slightly glutinous: both criteria befitting of a legitimate French macaroon. For the chocolate tart, the patron will experience the European decadence when their palate comes in contact with the chocolate that's used here: creamy, rich, smooth, flavorful, and with a balanced depth. The chestnut filling for me is the icing on the cake since I'm a s***** for chestnuts and in addition it imparts an added layer of smoothness to the chocolate tart overall. Ambiance: Clean, elegant, and tasteful. One point I wish to make clear: usually at certain High-Tea locations [try the Four Seasons in Sierra Madre and you'll know what I mean] I don't know why, but the atmosphere will be laden with the smell of animal(s). At Le Salon de The, thankfully, they don't have that particular problem. Service: The usual stereotype for French people is they're distant and cold. However, at Le Salon de The, both Cathy and her son, Anthony, will debunk that stereotype easily. Both are warm and friendly who tries their best to make every client that walks through the doors of their establishment feel at home. Price: In terms of price, High-Teas can range anywhere from $24 to $95 depending on where one goes. The average cost of High-Tea hovers around $40. At $54, the price here is not the most expensive on the market but it is above average. However, I regard the value-ratio here as good because of the quality of their culinary execution, their ambiance, and their quality of service.

We ordered champagne, in addition to tea, and merrily sipped until our sandwiches arrived. They were all delicious, especially the smoked salmon. I had forgotten to let them know of a particular food need, and Catherine and her son were so nice as to make an accommodation, and they promptly and unexpectedly brought out a substitution. The dessert portion of our meal was very good as well. We each received a chocolate tart, macaron, a piece of chocolate cake and a little dish of grapes. I even got a long-stemmed rose! The fact that there were only two other small parties made for a calm, quiet environment, and we had the best time pretending we were dining in Paris. We also chatted with Catherine about the best places to go in France, as we have a trip planned for spring. The salon is situated in a little area of miscellaneous shops, in the middle of WeHo construction. There is street parking, as well as a small lot nearby.

I was looking for a new place to host a tea for my group, and found this place on line. Cathy was wonderful to work with, and accommodated all our various requests. The room is charming, the tea OUTSTANDING, and the service excellent! Everyone in my group (ten of us) had a great time and we are all looking forward to returning, separately and as a group. I've had tea all over the world and this is definitely one of the best!

You have not tasted Chocolate Milk until you have had theirs. I almost passed out because it was so good. Truthfully, everything there is amazing. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and very French :)

My family and I were recommended by a French restaurant in San Diego to come and try this place, and I'm so glad we did !! If I could give this review 10 stars I would. We ordered tartines, chocolate cake, and some macarons. We were blown away by the quality and freshness of the food, and you can tell it's made from scratch. You cannot fake this ! As a French ex-pat family we were blown away. The staff is simply just lovely. Nothing but good vibes. Cathy and Anthony made us feel like family, are the sweetest, and want you to enjoy your time here. Simply angels. I'm so glad we met them. We will definitely be back for a high tea time experience, merci beaucoup !!! Fantastic job !!

I celebrated my birthday here. It really is a delightful little gem on Sunset Blvd. It's a family-run operation. The owner and the rest of her staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. We walked in and were immediately welcomed warmly. You don't see that too often in a big city like LA. The food and teas were delicious. We did the high tea service and it was lovely. Make sure to reserve at least a day in advance if that's what you want. Otherwise, you can walk in and enjoy the rest of the menu. The decor is very relaxing and very French. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a homey vibe with good quality food.

Wow! Merci for making my son's birthday celebration so special. The tea sandwiches were gorgeous and scrumptious. We throughly loved the variety of tea selections you offered. We will make the Salon de Thé a tradition!
