One of my fav restaurants in all of LA. Quality and pricing of everything on the menu is great. May with to call ahead or make reservation as it is small. Qw go there about once a month and will continue.

Gone down so bad recently. It seems like there was a change in management bc now they give bad portion and manager come around and look at you so rude and give a lot of attitude. Servers still good and food still good
It is a hidden gem in this town. Omakase Courses have great values. They give me great amount of food, and we couldn't finish them!

Walked in around 6:50. And the receptionist said the wait is 1 hour. Went on OpenTable and found a reservation on 7:15. Made the reservation. Then went into the place at 7:14. The receptionist made us wait until 7:25 while there were 3 empty tables.
Have been several times but they have changed for the worse. Food seems lower quality and the portions were smaller than I remember. Also, the service this time was not good. Inattentive waitstaff and very slow

The food at Manpuku may be decent, but the service we experienced was completely unacceptable. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel unwelcome. One of the waitresses gave us unpleasant looks and treated us with a noticeably cold and unfriendly attitude. It felt more like a burden for them to serve us than a job they chose to do.
Customer service matters—and this kind of treatment ruins the entire experience. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t recommend it to others.

Beef tongue was too tough to chew. Salad was salty. Food quality is not consistent and is worse than the Sawtelle store.
Clean & great steak! Cabbage salad is also a must!

It was our first time, and the food was amazing. The children had a wonderful time. We didn't see our waiter so much, and our table was left really messy and we had to ask for it to be cleaned before we had Dessert .
