Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Los Angeles, Manpuku offers a truly authentic Japanese barbecue experience that delights the senses. After a session of much-needed retail therapy at the nearby Beverly Center, my companions and I ventured across the street to indulge in a feast unlike any other.Upon entering Manpuku, we were greeted with a warm welcome and ushered to our table, where the true adventure began. Each table comes equipped with its own grill, allowing guests to barbecue their own meat to perfection. The selection of meats provided was fresh and flavorful, ensuring that every bite was a delight to the palate. What truly set Manpuku apart, however, was the impeccable service. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Attentive and welcoming, they guided us through the menu and offered recommendations that elevated the meal to new heights. In conclusion, Manpuku is a culinary gem in the heart of Los Angeles, offering a unique and unforgettable dining experience for all who visit. Whether you’re craving a taste of authentic Japanese barbecue or simply seeking a delicious meal after a day of shopping, Manpuku delivers on all fronts. So, the next time hunger strikes at the Beverly Center, look no further than Manpuku—where delicious food and warm hospitality await.

Showed up on time and was sat late, not a big deal. Service was very slow. Was never asked if I wanted another drink. They did a great job of changing out the grills. End of our service had to flag down a server for the bill, because we just weren't getting any service anymore. Wasn't offered any ice cream that comes with the set meal; I didn't want any, but how would the server know that? I've ate here many times and have had good experiences, but I had brought someone for their first time and they were very unimpressed and I had no recourse to disagree as the experience was very mediocre. Also, I highly recommend getting some acoustic treatments done to the dining room as it's nearly impossible to have a conversation without yelling when the dining room is full. It would drastically improve the dining experience when you don't have to yell and keep asking people to repeat what they're saying.

A restaurant that can enjoy Japanese bbq and Korean small dishes at the same time. You can eat at a reasonable price for sets. The service is very good as well:)

My fav are pork cheek, pork belly (come with lettuce), and outside skirt. The sukiyaki style wrap is a must try. Beef is tender and the dish is fun to eat!

Outstanding restaurant. Best Japanese BBQ we've ever had. Highly recommended. We had the Wagyu meal and then added on additional skirt and ribeye. Also had sides of corn, edamame, and garlic noodles. The garlic noodles were tops! Meats were perfectly, thinly sliced, and obviously of a high-quality.

Talk about price: Price is reasonable in California! No over price and meet the quality of American Wagyu. Food quality: Recommend for Short Rib and Pork Cheek(love it). Garlic Rice matches the taste!!! Service: Servers are nice and responsive.

Very good food, super service, reasonable price. Decor is simply, not elegant rather casual but still good for date ot business meeting. You prepare meet by grill it by yourself :) what is interesting experiences too. Reccommend.

Kobe beef went crazy...It's an expensive restaurant... Be sure to try the Kobe beef course. It melts in your mouth and disappears. The seasoning is not too salty and it is mild and delicious.

I've only been here once but they have high quality meat and interesting combos and dishes. I've been wanting to come back here but no one wants to go with me because it's too expensive. Lol.

This was one of the first Japanese BBQ spots I tried in LA & it did not disappoint. The quality of meats were very good & featured nice marbling. Price point is fair for the quality you receive. The short rib is definitely my favorite cut here. It can get pretty busy, so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Ambiance & decor is nothing special, the food is the star here.

Manpuku is a nice little restaurant in a happening area of Los Angeles, by 3rd Street and La Cienega. The food quality is good, and there aren't many places like that around there, I will definitely go back.
