We LOVE this place. It's our neighborhood favorite. They actually brought us champagne for our anniversary and we never even told them it was our anniversary! It was really touching. Food is always great and we always have a great experience there.

One of my favorite places for a long time. I wish I could go to Marco's more often but as a low income senior, with the cost of rent and groceries, dining out is a once-in-a-while treat. It's a charming place. The food is always good and the staff is always wonderful. I've enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there.

Been coming here on and off for a while. Huge portions. Decent food. Great staff and service. Fantastic location. Bummed to hear this place is for sale, hope it stays true to being a fun neighborhood gem.

I walk by Marco's daily and always see a busy restaurant, so I am chalking up this experience as a one-time occurrence. The food was all overcooked. The batter was falling off the calamari, which had the texture of shoe leather. Salmon and steak risotto were well presented and ample portions, but tasted like they had been reheated repeatedly. The service was very nice and we were greeted right away and our request for a different table was acknowledged and met. The restaurant could have substituted the radio playing (including the news) with some classical or calm ambient music.

We booked far too early. We were there at 10am on a Sunday morning. It started to pick up with lots of interesting characters from 11am. Not touristy at all (bonus) and full of locals / folks trying to “make it” etc. very generous with unlimited drinks. Definitely recommend. But would go later in the day! Book for 1pm.

Food was very bland, super overpriced. Couldn’t hardly concentrate on even eating because the owner was yelling at his employee very loudly on this particular day.

Very sweet little spot. Food was very good. I had the lasagne and the bolognese was very good. My bf had the chicken piccata. He loved it. The only complaint, while the calamari was fried in a light crispy tempura batter (very good), it was slightly over cooked and a little rubbery. But I wouldn't hesitate to try it again on my next visit. The service was very good.

I had the Eggplant parmegian. The other person in my party had the Ravioli. Both were delicious. It was a late dinner 9 pm as we were coming back from a show. We sat outside and the weather was cool. It felt like a tiny getaway to Italy. The portions were good sized. could only finish half so I took the other half back to the hotel and refrigerated it. It was even delicious cold the next morning for breakfast.

Brunch is always excellent, enjoyed the hangar steak, a treat that is hard to find served with eggs. potatoes, toast, and fruit garnish. My guest had French toast with strawberries and an extra side of bacon. Price has gone up quite a bit, now $24 for the steak and eggs compared to (I think) $19 that last time I was here. Great service, they take reservations which is a plus esp. if you're coming from a good distance. Very eclectic mix of clientele on this Sunday at 1 PM brunch Hollywood screen writers and actors, business men, grandma and grandpa types, college students, and locals who we could hear said they were out boozing it up the night before. Not on this visit, but there have been some flashy cross dressers, and we once sat next to two sisters, one was a pediatrician, the other a teacher I think. Parking is sometimes difficult but there is a city lot behind these shops. Not far from my favorite deli-bakery at Canters down the street. Sometimes it's crazy busy if there is a Cyclavia or a parade or protest.

I can definitely recommend the food there! Friendly service. Public parking space behind the building.

The waiter spent most of the time chatting with a girl at the bar. The salads were overdressed and the pizza was bland and raw. I’ve been here many times before so I know they have had good service and food but I won’t go again for quite awhile if at all based on this experience.
