This was ridiculously good. I was worried they were going to be clowning on me when I saw them calling it shaveD ice. Turns out this is a whole new breed. I walked away saying I would have paid more and that’s maybe the best review I can leave.

The workers were so kind and helpful! We tried a variety of flavours and they were so pleasant and plant based! I recommend the cashew coconut.

The staff are very kind and friendly. The food comes out very quickly, and the portion sizes are just right. The bingsu is very creamy and melts instantly in your mouth it’s absolutely delicious. I wasn’t sure whether seasonal menu items were available to order, and I wanted to try the persimmon bingsu, but it wasn’t listed on the menu so I couldn’t order it. I’ll definitely come back next time to try the persimmon bingsu!

Such amazing and delicate flavors!! Not too sweet which I prefer; every part of it was a treat. Their whipped cream and cookie on top is a must!! Wish I could buy bags of their cookies..so yummy. Tried their seasonal Marzipan flavor, and the Matcha. Loved both and can't wait to try rhe other flavors and items on the menu!!

I absolutely love this place and have been frequenting it ever since I found it. As someone who’s obsessed with matcha and very particular about ingredients, this café instantly became one of my favorite go-to dessert spots in Los Angeles.

First, everything here is vegan, clean, and free of artificial flavors, which I appreciate so much. Their Block Shake Matcha with oat milk is unreal — incredibly smooth, perfectly balanced, and honestly the best matcha shake I’ve ever had. I don’t consume dairy, so finding something this creamy and high-quality feels like a dream. I’m literally addicted to it. It reminds me of the type of drinks I get when I travel to Japan or South Korea, and having that level of quality so close by makes me feel like I’ve been transported straight into a Korean café in Seoul.

I also love watching the owner, Ben, hand-craft each shaved ice right in front of you. The attention to detail is so special — from the delicate scoop of cream on top to their house-made little cookie that adds the perfect crunch. The flavors are never overly sweet, which I love. Everything has a subtle, natural taste that feels almost guilt-free, and you can really tell they prioritize quality over sugar.

Their seasonal shaved ice flavors are always exciting, and the current persimmon one is incredible. I also really love their newest menu addition, the Onki hot tea, which means “warm energy” in Korean. It’s made with organic jujube, cinnamon, chicory root, and dandelion root. It’s soothing, delicious, and perfect for the colder months — plus I love that the ingredients support wellness and detox.

The ambiance is another huge highlight. The space is so clean, aesthetic, and minimal, with beautiful wooden accents. Everything is presented thoughtfully on trays, and it just adds to that calming, elevated experience I look for in a dessert café.

They also have other refreshing drinks, including an iced matcha that’s so good. Truly, there is nothing else like this in Los Angeles — the concept, the flavors, the presentation, and the quality make this place incredibly unique. Supporting small businesses like this one feels so rewarding, especially when they bring traditions and flavors from other countries in such an authentic way.

Overall, I highly recommend this spot. The desserts are delicious and feel good to eat, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the owner Ben is always so kind and welcoming. I’m constantly excited to see what seasonal flavor they come up with next. This café has become one of my absolute favorites! 💚

This shop is lovely! Stopped in for a quick treat while waiting around LA and we were pleasantly surprised! The shaved ice itself was excellent and the menu was very carefully curated. I thought it was a bit on the pricey side but it is a fun treat so we didn’t mind too much. We got the matcha oat milk flavor and the strawberry coconut flavor and both were great but I enjoyed the matcha one a bit more! We had a couple allergies in our group and they were very informative about ingredients which makes sense since the shop is vegan and dairy/gluten free. Loved this place as it had such a cute and clean vibe and the desserts were tasty and refreshing!

Everything was super clean, and surprisingly SOOO delicious. I was a firm believer that healthy and delicious COULD NOT go in the same sentence, but I’m so happy that I was proved wrong.

Mewame is a Korean phrase that means beauty and flavor, and they sure match the name. Mewame offers delicious desserts that are dairy-free, gluten-free, non-gmo, vegan, and made with no artificial coloring or flavoring.

I was so shocked to eat something with such clean ingredients that also tasted AMAZING. The mango passion fruit was the perfect blend of sweet and tarts, which was super refreshing during a hot Saturday. The chocolate was also super yummy resembling a fudge taste! They were also super smooth, unlike your regular shaved ice.

The matcha blockshake was also super refreshing and the perfect amount of sweet, which is just how I like my matcha.

If you’re ever in the west side and want to try a new dessert place, don’t hesitate to visit Mewame⋆˙⟡♡

I finally got to try Mewame’s shaved ice cream and I’m so glad I did! The texture was incredibly light and creamy at the same time, and it looked just as pretty as it tasted. I love that they don’t use any artificial flavors or colors—everything is plant-based, yet still so rich and flavorful. It was sooo good! Definitely worth the wait and a new favorite treat.

Wow! Super ice cream. I thought it was going to be like a sorbet because it is called shaved ice, but it is creamy like ice cream. My mom loved it because it is not overly or artificially sweet where you get a sugar high. It feels healthy but decadent. Best of all it’s vegan. Great place to introduce others to quality vegan desserts. Thank you for existing and being quality, healthy vegan!!!

I tried their shaved ice and blockshake, and everything was so delicious!!!!

I had the Kiwi Banana Shaved Ice and the Cashew Coconut flavor. Since it’s coconut-based, the natural nuttiness comes through beautifully, giving it a rich, refined flavor. It’s a taste I haven’t experienced anywhere else. The cream is also wonderfully rich without being heavy, so the whole dessert feels wholesome and full in flavor.

For the Blockshake, I tried the Mango Pineapple, which is made from an ice block that includes avocado and coconut. Because of that, it has a dense, luxurious texture, very different from the typical smoothies I’ve had. It tastes elevated, almost like a new category of dessert.

The interior of the cafe, with its warm wood design, is stylish and modern. It’s perfect for a date spot for younger people, but I also think it would appeal to older guests who prefer desserts that aren’t overly sweet. You can really taste the quality of the clean, carefully selected ingredients, which brings out a premium flavor.

Considering the quality of the ingredients, the price range of $8.50–9 feels very reasonable.

It’s a fresh, modern, and sophisticated dessert experience that pairs beautifully with the chic atmosphere of the cafe. I highly recommend it!
