Setup was unique - felt like a lowkey Thai spot with great music. Manager was kind enough to email the Spotify playlist playing.

Crab wontons were fire - the best I’ve ever had.

We go to Night + Market Weho often because the food is genuinely excellent—probably some of the best Thai food in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the hospitality has consistently been the opposite of that quality.

Dishes arrive the moment they’re ready, one after another, without any pacing. It forces you to eat quickly so the food doesn’t get cold.

When we asked a server if the dish she dropped off was our last, she snapped back, “This is my first time talking to y’all, so I don’t know.” No offer to check—just dismissive. As if we were intruding on her time.

The server who took our order vanished until the check arrived, at which point we had to flag a mistake (we were charged for a dish that never came). He removed it but without apology, and then disappeared again for 10 minutes before returning with the corrected bill.

My wife kindly asked the manager if the music could be turned down slightly so we could hear each other. Instead of a polite “Sorry, we can’t,” his actual words were: “No. We can’t do that. We’re a rock and roll restaurant and we play loud music. If you don’t like it, don’t come.”

The atmosphere is so tense that when I almost knocked over a water bottle, my first thought was that the staff would scold us. That’s not how a restaurant should make guests feel.

To put this in perspective, restaurants like Bacari go out of their way to make guests feel at home. At Night + Market Weho, we left feeling embarrassed that we had brought out-of-town friends there.

Even the valet added to the frustration: when we arrived I asked if I could pay with a card, I was told “yes.” Only afterward did I learn that paying by card adds an unmentioned $2 fee to the posted $12 rate. Not a huge sum, but it felt intentionally misleading.

The food here is worth ordering for delivery, but the in-person experience is not one we’ll repeat. For all its great flavors, the lack of basic hospitality overshadows it.

Highly recommend. The spice levels here are crazy, would go mild. Pad gra pow is yum and so are the green beans. The beer cocktail is YUM.

Incredible food - get the crispy rice salad. Fun ambience with young crowd.

Pork Laab salad was fantastic, as was the rest of the food.

There are so many amazing Thai spots in Los Angeles... This is not one of those spots. Overpriced, noisy, and just not a vibe at all.

This place is really cool and the food is delicious!! We got a little bit of everything for the table and every plate was good. We particularly enjoyed the pork belly bites, fried chicken, and pad see ew.

⭐ 1-Star Review Deeply Disappointed – Rude Behavior from the GM I’ve been a loyal customer of Night + Market and have always enjoyed the food—until my most recent visit, which was so upsetting I feel compelled to share. I came in with my girlfriend and family for a dinner we had been looking forward to. Unfortunately, there was a small issue with our reservation being mistakenly set for the following day. Instead of helping us resolve the situation, the GM spoke to me in an extremely rude and condescending manner. When I calmly tried to work out a solution, we were told there were two open tables next to each other along the wall. They could have easily been pushed together—literally just 10 inches—but the GM refused. When I respectfully asked why that was a problem, he told me to leave the restaurant. I didn’t raise my voice or act out—I simply asked a question. This kind of treatment, especially in front of family, was incredibly hurtful and completely uncalled for. What could’ve been a simple fix turned into a humiliating experience because of a power trip. This behavior is not just unacceptable—it’s bad for business. I’ve supported this place for years, but after what happened, I will not be returning, and I’ll be warning others to think twice before dining here.

Night Market Weho was a culinary highlight of our trip! The Pad Thai was the best food we had during our visit to West Hollywood - truly delicious. The interior, however, could use some attention. While the market-style concept is clear, the execution feels a bit off, particularly with numerous crooked pictures on the walls. Service was interesting – ordering was very quick, but we weren't checked on frequently after that. Overall, come for the fantastic food, but don't expect a flawless ambiance

The wine and food is really yummy, but for people who don’t eat beef/pork/seafood, menu is a bit limited. Although, I still found things to eat and it was yummy.
I got the grapow pad kra pow and chicken larb. Grapow was spicy and spectacular and the other was moderate.

When we came in around 7pm for a reservation, it was a little quiet and we could talk but then as the night went on, there was no way we could hear each other without getting closer and screaming.

I get the Pad Thai to go often. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but not worst!

Worth a try if you haven’t yet.
