I ordered sashimi for delivery. It smelled and tasted fine, but 30 minutes after finishing it, I was vomiting a LOT. It was definitely the sashimi, as Iād only had water to drink, and I hadnāt eaten anything since the morning.
But I wouldnāt be leaving this review if theyād just responded differently. When I called them to let them know about the incident, they didn't seem to care very much. I wasnāt asking for a refund or anything (since Iām getting that from the delivery company), I just wanted to let them know that they had a food safety issue. But the person on the phone took no responsibility and didnāt suggest that theyād take any steps to prevent this happening again (contacting their supplier, reviewing their food handling practices, etc). They actually tried to blame it on the driverāāyou never know what theyāre doing to your foodā ???āeven though the packaging was obviously not tampered with and the driver only went 3 miles.
I was genuinely shocked by this response. Very disappointing that a restaurant wouldnāt take a health & safety issue seriously.

Portion sizes are very generous and pricing is very affordable. Great taste as well for teriyaki chicken! Also, not too oily, which sometimes japanese food can be. I would say one of the best if not the best japanese food in Weho.

I got food poisoning from the sashimi and had to go to the hospital after throwing up multiple times and had the worst cramps ever. I only ate sashimi and takoyaki on that evening. Donāt go to that restaurant or at least donāt eat the sashimi if you donāt want to pay hundreds of dollars on medication and if your health is important for you
