Please excuse the messy photos, I was too hungry and just snapped them quickly before eating. I ordered the Seafood Yakisoba and Curry Katsu, and my friend absolutely loved it! As always, Ocean Sushi did not disappoint. We both enjoyed it so much. thumbs up! 😀

Wow~~ the food was absolutely amazing!
I went with my son for a little date, and since the reviews were so good, we decided to stop by. And yes, there’s definitely a reason why this place has such great reviews.

I was so surprised at the Happy Hour prices, unbelievable, especially nowadays when everything has gone up. It was not only affordable but also delicious.

The Wagyu roll I tried for the first time was truly unforgettable, with such a rich, premium flavor. The other sushi rolls were fresh and tasty as well, and the fried squid reminded me of something from a fine Italian restaurant.

Dessert was delicious too, and the service was excellent. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars! I think I’ll be coming here often. Highly recommend!

Headed to Ocean Sushi at happy hour and really enjoyed the deals! The happy hour menu runs a couple of times a day and we ended up ordering all of our dinner from it! And nothing is happy hour sized. It is all full-size menu items. It was fairly quiet when we sat down, but the place was popping by the time that we left. There is parking available as well! They do a lot of To Go orders. Drivers were picking up food every few minutes it seemed. The staff is friendly and must have come by the table at least ten times during service. Water always full and plates cleared when we were done with them.

We started with garlic edamame, yellowtail collar (Kama), and baked mussels. And then got a couple of rolls to round it out. These were the Super Philadelphia and the Dancing Eel. The edamame came out a couple of minutes after ordering and was steaming hot. They were cooked just right and had so much garlic on them. The baked mussels came a bit later and were very good. Cooked very well and was an attractive presentation. The Kama came after the rolls, but this does take time to prepare. It was a really nice size portion and was steaming hot when it came out. Great to pick at when there are a bunch of choices on the table to choose from. The rolls came out and the table looked full at this point. So many good things to choose from. The Super Philadelphia roll was tasty and had a lot of salmon on it. I normally do not choose cream cheese sushi dishes, but this worked well. Very rich in flavors. The Dancing Eel was nicely balanced. Again, a very rich in flavor type roll.

Not sure why this place doesn’t have 5 stars. Found this place about a year ago and every time we are in LA we make a point to come during happy hour and get their mountain roll & crispy spicy tuna. Service is wonderful and attentive. Sushi never misses. Always so fresh. 10/10 recommend!

Lovely establishment with a great late night happy hour. We had several nigiri options as well as some of the ocean sushi specialty rolls. The salmon belly was so good and on happy hour was only $6 for two pieces which is a steal. Highly recommend this place. Service was also great. Will definitely be back!

It's a good sushi bar, but there's better one's within easy walking distance.

The chef (tall Asian male) years ago or so, he's sort of like very homophobia who disliked femboy the look. and sushi portion are like not enough. never go back again because of his attitudes. That was during PRIDE weekend (At night).

Ocean Sushi blew me away. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the Ocean Roll was a standout—perfect balance of flavor and texture. I also tried the toro and uni, both top-tier. Service was friendly and fast, and the vibe was relaxed but stylish. Easily one of my new favorite sushi spots in LA. @sushitraveler

I ordered my food on DoorDash and they gave my driver the wrong person's order. After receiving my order and calling them to tell them what happened, I requested for them to redo my order. When my new order was sent to me, the pick up time was clear that it was the original time that was mistaken, and so my sushi was warm. The hot items that I ordered were freezing. If they were going to mess up my order, they should have at least remade my food so that way the fish does not go stale and they are not serving me rotten food. I even called them to tell them what happened and they did not seem to care.

Come here for happy hour! Mad we missed it by a half hour. Happy hour 5-6 and 8-9. Most of the rolls and apps and drinks are on the happy hour menu at a very discounted price. Rolls on happy hour are like 13 instead of 18 or 19.

The edamame app was huge, plenty to share. We were 3 and couldn’t finish it. And it was super fresh with a good amount of salt on it which I like. The rolls were fresh and delicious. I liked the shrimp tempura and ultimate salmon roll. The garlic ninja roll was good too. Those were my favorites. The salmon crunch roll was too spicy for me. The plum wine was very sweet. The matcha beer just tasted like beer but was colored green. I guess there was matcha in there too but I didn’t taste it.

It was quiet on a Monday night. I made a reservation but didn’t need to. Very casual place and wait service was very friendly. Lots of robots also roaming the street and picking up orders :)
