Olivetta is a total gem! The food is absolutely incredible—every dish is packed with flavor, and the presentation is always on point. The vibes are consistently high energy, and the staff truly knows how to make you feel welcome and excited to be there. Whether it's a casual dinner or a special celebration, the atmosphere is always fun and lively.
That said, one thing I've noticed people tend to complain about is the wait time, especially during peak hours. We had a reservation and waited another 45min and the waiting area in front of the dining area was super packed to even stand like packed sardines. It can get a little busy, and while the food is definitely worth it, it’s something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. Other than that, Olivetta never disappoints, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Olivetta in West Hollywood nails the vibe—it’s like stepping into an Old Hollywood dream. The lush interiors, draped ceilings, and rich colors create a glamorous yet inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you’d imagine Hollywood icons lingering over cocktails. But while the ambiance was top-tier, the food was not the star.
We started with a side of caviar, served with crème fraîche and Yukon potato chips—an odd pairing that didn’t quite elevate the dish. The Caesar salad was filling but forgettable.
For our mains, we opted for three dishes:
• 8oz Filet Mignon – Cooked well with a nice sear, but it lacked that wow factor. A top-tier steakhouse would easily outshine this dish.
• Grilled Branzino – While stunning in presentation and generous in portion, it was overcooked, dry, and lacking flavor. A sauce or garnish could have helped elevate it, but as prepared, it fell flat.
• Paccheri with Vodka Sauce – Surprisingly, the standout of the night. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the vodka sauce had depth, a lingering hint of spice, and richness that set it apart from the other dishes. If I were to return, I’d skip the fish and steak and focus on the pasta offerings instead.
Service was polished, and the setting alone makes Olivetta worth visiting. If you’re here for a night of cocktails and ambiance, you won’t be disappointed. But if you’re expecting an elite fine-dining experience, choose your dishes wisely—some shine, while others struggle to live up to the restaurant’s glamorous aesthetic.

Go spend your hard worked money elsewhere. We stopped by on a Friday night after dinner for a quick drink. Hostess and bartender were slightly rude. When asked about the drink flights they advertised on the website, the bartender laughed it off saying the website hasn’t been updated in years. When asked for a preference between 2 of the specialty cocktails, the bartender flippantly replied “oh whatever you like”. 2 cocktails out the door with included 20% gratuity came to nearly $70. Typical weho bs. All show over substance.

This used to be our favorite restaurant. Is there new management? We were greeted by the smell of sewage at check in. The martini tasted like they didn’t clean out the shaker from the cocktail prior. The bread was greasy. The cut of beef was poorly cooked. The pasta was mushy. The whole meal was just subpar. It was our anniversary, which we mentioned in the reservation, and there was no acknowledgment. Not that we needed one, but why even ask? I don’t know, it was just a 0/10 let down. When you’re paying $600+ for a meal you just expect it to be lovely and a great experience. And it wasn’t.

I've eaten at this restaurant 4 times in 18 months. The first three times were impeccable including the best birthday dinner I ever had last year. Went for an early birthday celebration with a friend two nights ago, and it was average at best. Ordered the sourdough- used to be out of this world- too greasy this time. But my friend went to order lobster pasta and the waiter told her not to order it- that it disappointed people. I ordered the NY strip medium rare. I can eat rare meat, but this was raw 80% through and COLD. Had to send it back. The replacement was overly garlicky and peppery. Definitely underwhelming. I used to tell everyone visiting to go to this gem.... now I'm having doubts. Maybe a be chef or management, or even because it was the day after a holiday- but drastic drop in quality of food from my prior visits.

Went for dinner on Christmas Eve, we were a medium size group. Service was good , food was good the the ambient music was loud club music. When we asked if they could turn it down they turned it up. Our group probably spent $800 for dinner. There must be 100 fine dining restaurants within 5 miles of this one that have good service and good food with appropriate ambient music, I doubt we will visit this one again.

Pasta is excellent- everything else
Is okay. Service is whatever. We had to pour our own $225 bottle of wine which in a restaurant of that standing you shouldnt have have to do. We were just visiting but not sure we’d be back if we lived here. Good but way overpriced

We were at this restaurant last night. Even though the server knew we didn’t consume anything but fish, specifically any animal broths in any dish. We ended up ordering the Brussels sprouts, even though we made sure it was cooked in vegetable oil. Middle of eating we come to find out there’s BACON in the Brussels sprout. We do not eat meat! The server knew that. We were so disgusted that we actually didn’t finish the rest of the food or waited to get change back leaving over $100 in tip and left. Honestly I realize lately going to fine dining places, they have servers that don’t care or have some mental issues with ulterior Motives. Until these restaurants get better servers who enjoy what they do. We are done eating in Los Angeles area restaurants because something definitely has been happening with their hirings.

A great dining experience! The food (lamb bolognese, filet mignon, broccolini, and sourdough bread) and service were simply amazing!

I recently visited Olivetta, and the ambience felt like stepping into an enchanting ‘Alice in Wonderland’ setting. From the decor to the vibe, everything had a whimsical charm that made the evening memorable. The service was friendly and attentive, from the warm welcome at the door to the thoughtful care from our server.
I particularly enjoyed the Caesar salad—it was fresh and well-prepared. There was a bit of a wait for the steak, but the staff kindly let us know they were short-staffed that evening. Parking was a bit of a challenge, as there’s no nearby parking, so I had to valet my car. Despite that, it’s a great place to gather with friends for drinks and appetizers if you’re looking for a stylish spot to unwind. Just plan for a bit of extra time if it’s a busy night.

Good food; however it took significantly longer than needed. Also, really really bad energy and tension among the employees — created a noticeably hostile environment, particularly at the bar. I wouldn’t go back.
