Riot House Restaurant + Bar

Really great place to stay and eat with amazing views over the city. Staff very friendly and so helpful a great place to stay while in LA. with some interesting musical history 😊

I had breakfast here while staying at the hotel and I thought it was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the potatoes and the ham.

I also liked that on one day, the orange juice wasn’t fresh squeezed like they usually are, and the server told me this so I could switch to a different juice.

I did find the portion sizes weirdly inconsistent day by day though, my iced latte and orange juice came in a different sized cup each day, and my bowl of fruit was nearly triple the size the first time compared to the second time I ordered it.

Service is pretty slow as the restaurant gets quite busy. I noticed many diners around me on multiple days had breakfast packages from the hotel, so it’s nice to see food quality wasn’t cut.

This bar and food experience was great. I did forget to take pictures. The waiter/bartender was not only helpful and very friendly....we was sexy ;-)
The late night drinks and snack was just perfect. Total top notch experience.

Ate here because I stayed here but if I wasn't I don't think I'd go out of my way. The service was really nice. The guy was super friendly. It was pretty slow but it was also just him. The prices are higher but pretty comparable to other hotels. I got a vegetarian breakfast burrito and honestly it was a good burrito but I feel like $20 for just the burrito but no sides is a bit much for me. But that's just me. In reality it's a pretty average price. Anyways food was good, service was great, atmosphere is nice but overall nothing to write home about.

This review just relates to the bar. Utterly rude/disinterested barman. Sorry we were such an inconvenience when we approached to order drinks, it was crystal clear you didn’t want us there despite us being friendly to you, you couldn’t have been more arrogant. I will never come here again.

The food is decent, but definitely not worth what they charge. They have standard hotel restaurant dishes but with gourmet level pricing. Doesn’t add up. On top of the inflated prices, there are other surprise fees you’ll see on your bill after. Yay!They don’t alert customers to this ahead of time, but they have a shady practice of adding an 18% additional “Service Charge” to your bill. Just because. When I asked about it, they said that charge is the gratuity. But there’s still a line for gratuity. And again, they explain none of this unless you ask. Seems deceptive, and I’m not even sure the Service Charge really goes to the servers. But I wasn’t going to double-tip either, paying 40% extra on top of the inflated prices. That whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth, and is enough for me not to return.The servers were okay, but I could hardly get their attention even in the mostly empty restaurant. One acted like she’d rather not be working at all. The other was nice. Still, slow service over all though.I’m staying at the hotel for a few days, but after that bummer of an experience the first evening, I won’t return. There are plenty of other options around that offer better food, service, prices, and no mysterious surprise fees at the end.

It's both a nice bar and restaurant. The food was yummy and the drinks were also amazing. The staff were nice and attentive.The flavors of the food was also sensational.I would really love to recommend this place to you.

Frozen flatbread recooked and over priced drinks really disappointing. Very small and Bar smells of fried food.
