Tenmasa Japanese Restaurant

We stopped in at Tenmasa Japanese Restaurant and at first it felt a little awkward, as I think we arrived right on opening and the place was completely empty. The atmosphere was a bit flat to start with, but things picked up once we were settled. Our server quickly warmed up, was very attentive, and super helpful with guiding us through the menu. The food itself was absolutely delicious – fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. What started as a slightly stale beginning turned into a really enjoyable dining experience.

Very nice and quiet spot. Very clean inside. The customer service was great. I didn't catch my servers name... but he was great, super friendly..Very nice man. Food wise I had a Tuna Garlic Roll...add avocado 🥑..it was delicious. The Roll itself could've been rolled a bit tighter and the rice seemed really loose. Almost all of my cut rolls fell about as I picked it up or dipped it into the soy sauce. But other than that ill give this spot a 4.8 out 5. Its Definitely worth stopping by.

Worst service ever. It's not worth going. I ordered seven items. The clam sushi is good. Tako sashimi is tasty. Skip the albacore sashimi; it's tasteless. Shrimp sunonomo is not noteable. Their sushi rice is really good. The yellowtail was far too cold to enjoy. Edamame is overboiled, then sauteed in minced garlic and a neutral oil.

DISGUSTING AND RUDE!!! Lunch special tasted gross and the server was beyond RUDE!!!! Didn’t acknowledge us at all, we had to ask for seating and for our check… we were the only ones in the restaurant so what?!

I’ve been coming to this place for the past 3 years, and I can confidently say it’s the best spot for authentic Japanese food. I usually get lunch special takeout here, and the quality never disappoints. The portions are generous for the price, and everything is so fresh and flavorful. The staff are always kind and friendly. If you’re looking for delicious Japanese cuisine at an affordable price, I highly recommend this place!

One of the best sushi places I've ever been to in the entire country. I absolutely love Tenmasa. The best part is how simple their presentation is. Just very high quality fish, very simple, nothing too fancy. It's the way sushi is meant to be enjoyed. Also great atmosphere and extremely kind people that run this place. I will come back here every chance I get. Incredible!
