We had a great experience dining at Tesse!! The ambiance and the food was amazing We met the owner who is such a sweetheart and took care of us so well when it took them a while to sit us down. We will definitely be back!! Thank you

If you are a foodie and a wine conesiur, then this place is for you. Great food, great wine and great service all in one! Even though LA has a lot of great places to offer, I can hardly say that all of that can be offered in one restaurant. Tesse had definitely exceeded all of the expectations over and over. Can't wait to do wine tastings with them.

The food and drinks tasted great. We especially enjoyed the onion rings, croquettes and burger. Serviced seemed to lack a bit a did they were short staffed but everything else besides that was fine.

I was here with a small group (5) for brunch and had the first reservation of the day (11 am). Service was attentive. Drinks were perfect and food was tasty. We tried the short rib hash, Benedict and lobster roll. Portions were appropriate. I liked the vibe and they do validate for parking in the lot attached to the building. There is a pre fixe option for $32 that seemed like a good deal too.

Lovely atmosphere. A bit loud if you're with a group it's kind of hard to hear from one end of the table to the other but overall, very nice. Service of the main entrees was a little uneven with some people getting theirs well before others. Truffle fries are amazing, nice wine and cocktail list. Recommend the cauliflower, charcuterie board with pickled veggies and hamachi entree.

Pricey but we will be back. The Salmon & Short Ribs were perfectly prepared. I did think $167 was a bit steep for the portion sizes. The crudite platter we got was delicious but for $28 there were only a few small slices of meat, teeny bit of cheese & 2 pieces of bread. I would NOT get that again b/c of price & portion, but it was delicious. Ambience felt like a new york restaurant - great vibe. Dress upscale but not hoochie. People were dressed a bit more chic & sophisticated and the restaurant was the perfect amount of lively & bustling.

The restaurant is beautiful. We went for brunch and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Was a bit disappointed with the service. Rarely checked back with us. Took awhile to get drinks. When people are ordering brunch and not sharing the food it should come out together. As a table of 6 people I was finished when the last person was being served. I understand at dinner where the menu is more for sharing but not at brunch.

Service was great. Restaurant was overly noisy, our server couldn't even hear us and accidentally sent the wrong item. Our server was great and quickly handled the situation. Porkchop took 45 minutes to come out and was greatly overcooked. First time I've sent food back.

Tesse is THE PLACE to go to celebrate, either a special occasion or just another day of life! We celebrated a birthday, from excellent service, shareable plates, amazing wines expertly paired by their Wine Director Jorge, fabulous Bucatini followed by a Bone Marrow Luge (shot of Madeira) and sparkler birthday dessert, a really great time was had by all!

Good location and nice ambiance. Service was great but unfortunately the food was not very good. They were still working off a special Valentine's Day menu on February 18 ( on a Saturday night no less). Perhaps their regular menu and food would have been better. Eating the steak was like chewing bubble gum. The cream sauce in the pasta dish was like glue. Not good.

Very nice place. Food was delicious. Service was good but not completely to the level of attentiveness I'd expect from a place like this. Usually don't prefer to have to ask for my servers attention constantly. Although chef was very kind and hand delivered a few of our plates which was a nice surprise. Flavors and ingredient quality were definitely top notch. Typical LA elevated dining prices. Not outrageous easy to rack up a large bill. In this case I'd say worth it for the food and experience just hope I have a more attentive server next time.

The food was amazing! The atmosphere was lively and it a good energy. I did not like that the food didn't come all at once or in courses, and I was seating by the entrance, so there was a rush of cold wind coming through from time to time. Besides that, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this place.

Great venue and ambience. The hosts were ok, she was not the warmest of people. Our waitress was amazing! So much fun. The food was ok mainly because everything had a mind of dressing that was too creamy - felt like ranch all the way. I personally dislike adding $27 (6%) for health benefits for staff because I feel the employer is responsible for their benefits . They could easily add it to the price .

Exceptional wine list with great Mediterranean variation. Cocktail list had several I'd like to try but only had the Karen drink, delicious! Not a fan of the duck fat fries because they are cut thicker than steak fries. Bone marrow pasta was one of my favorite pasta dishes in a long time and again, several others I'd come back for! Plenty to choose from in this menu for vegetarians too. Enjoy!

I love Tesse and always dine here when I'm on Sunset. The food is delish with a nice range of options. The cocktails are great, there's a nice “Sunset Hour” and the bartender, Grayson, is a delight. Service is always great and parking is easy in the garage below. It's a win all around.
