The hostess is kind and warm, the staff is top-notch, the ambience sublime and the food delicious. I dined with two people visiting from the currently-frigid east coast and they were bowled over. A perfect experience.
I love everything about Sunset Tower — the service, the atmosphere, and the food are all exceptional. It's truly my favorite place ❤️
I remember the experience here being less trendy and loud . One table was obnoxiously loud and quite frankly the maitre should have intervened. As a result everyone had to raise their voices and the dining experience suffered
Coming from NYC - I was excited to experience this restaurant as I'd heard rave reviews - unfortunately they put us in such an out of the way table we might as well been sitting in they hotel lobby - very disappointed
Very sexy, dim lit bar/restaurant with high noise level. Music was jazzy and chic. Service was 10/10. We started with slightly dirty martini. Excellent. First course was oysters and deviled eggs. Highly recommend. Next we got 2 salads; one was beet and the other tomato & burrata. Beet was nothing special. Tomato was good but nothing memorable. For our entrees we got the burger, sea bass & lobster tacos. Burger was delicious! And the sauce that comes with it 10/10. Sea bass was dry. We sent the first one back and the next was just as dry. Tacos were excellent but they better be for $67! We got the pistachio ice cream with heath bar and whipped cream. Yummy! Also the espresso martini was excellent. Our service was outstanding! And our waiter was nice on the eyes lol! This place seems like a meeting spot for a lot of local LA people getting together for work related events. I'd definitely go back!
The Tower is always fantastic. The food is exceptionally good. The service is always outstanding. My guests felt like they were receiving the royal treatment, but I assured them that everyone is treated like that at the Tower.
I can see why this place is a go to for celebrities and people who love classic places on Sunset. It's very dark and the music is good. Other than the food being subpar, especially at the price it's listed at, I am happy I finally got to check out this famous spot.
I am a frequent guest and love it! I just wish I always knew I could be in main dining area in the back so should I request that when I reserve?
I can't say enough! I have returned to the Tower Bar many times. It's a wonderful experience and like stepping back in time to a beautiful setting. My favorite waiter is Angel, and he lives up to its name. Relaxed and elegant atmosphere.
Love the Tower bar, mainly come here for the brunch/breakfast. Came at 11:05 and we're sat with the breakfast menu. Was so happy me made it in time. Hostess was lovely and sat us. The serve came to get our order and then took our breakfast menu's because it was after 11am and said we cousins gat breakfast, brought us a lunch menu. Food and drinks are always good. Service was a little extra slow. We wanted to get a cake, but ended up flagging server down to get the check instead.

It was fine. Service was highly attentive to the point that it felt rushed. Dined at a time when the restaurant was empty to get a good look at the view but was still sat indoors near the very loud bar. Food was okay. Dessert was too large - I couldn’t finish four scoops of sorbet, could you?

Tower Bar is an interesting experience.
The lounge bar is beautiful, classy, and you can’t resist taking tons of pictures. 😬
Cocktails were nice. But mentioned in most of reviews, “martinis” were disappointing.
Not all bartenders are skilled and know how to mix some worldwide-known cocktails. So, it was an interesting experience to explain to a bartender how to mix a Pornstar Martini. BTW, they hadn’t half of the ingredients for the cocktail :(
Also, note that their cocktails are overpriced.
But, bartenders are getting 7 out of 10. Only at the lounge area. Hospitality, professionalism, and communication. 🍸
Food is 2 out of 10. The saddest tartare and steak salads in my life. Oysters were fresh. Thanks 😬
Employees are nice. But you can wait for a waiter forever, or he will ping you every couple of minutes about “ready to order?”. Also, the easiest way to summon a waiter: take a picture of food! Any pictures are prohibited. 🤡
Not bad for the experience, if you are going to the lounge bar, or asking for a dinner reservation at a table near the window to see the city. Or if you’d like to enjoy super loud live music (if you are sitting near the entrance).
But you still can find better view, drinks, food, service, and vibe places around. And they will be way cheaper than this place. And which allow food photos 🤡

This place is a great nighttime vibe! The chicken pot pie is a 10/10 and the service here is always excellent at the tables. Love the live jazz music after 7pm. This place is one of my favourite spots in Los Angeles.

The food here is so incredibly mid. Steak was comically poorly cooked, like.. something from Applebees. Drinks were good. Service was good.
