Overall it was lovely and relaxed, service was brilliant, we just had coffee and loved it.
Lovely dinner at Tower Bar — best dirty martinis, great food, and beautiful ambiance with live piano and cello.
What more do you want than perfect vibes, good martinis (a superb smash drink) and great pigs in a blanket.
This is honestly my favorite restaurant in all of Los Angeles. Sophisticated ambiance, outstanding food and service (Jim!). Pork chop an excellent choice.
Was here under a reservation with friends, One of which was visiting Los Angeles for the first time. We arrived on time to our reservation and all six of us, We all ordered craft cocktails, already spending about $200 on that. And then she came around and asked us if we wanted any food of course we are like yes, so we begin to order around six appetizers for the table. She then says ok our kitchen is closing in 15 minutes so if you want to order anything else you’re going to have to put it in now. we had only discussed what we wanted as appetizers and since we’re a group of girls, we were just like oh we don’t really know what we want as entrees, and all decided we would just stick with the appetizers instead of ordering entrées. The waitress is like OK no problem. I’m putting this in. Five minutes later, a woman comes up to us and is like hi. I’m so sorry but you guys are gonna have to give up your table. You didn’t order food and we’re like we just put in six appetizers and she’s like yes, but our policy requires that you order an entrée each, So we’re like whatever we will move to the bar. As we are literally gathering our stuff and ask for the check, a second person comes over and this time it’s a man. And he says the exact same thing and we’re like yes we already got told this we’re waiting for the check. And he’s like oh well I just had to let you know because you didn’t order food. And I say we did order food we just put in six appetizers that you guys said we’re coming, so is that coming or not because we have to pay for it, He says that they never put in the order My friends and I just ask him since the kitchen is closing in 15 minutes. There are empty tables surrounding us. Can we just get what we ordered and eat it at our table? And he literally says to us, we would rather have An empty table then you guys just sitting here for drinks, To which then I’m like we ordered six appetizers they’re like a full pizza calamari bread etc. And we probably would have ordered entrées have their kitchen up and closing, and we didn’t discuss like what we wanted. Mind you there are tables that people are sitting in with only drinks surrounding us. This is not some rule that is listed on their website or when you book a reservation. So they give us the check eventually for $200 worth of drinks, which we probably would’ve ordered another round as well. they tell us we can go sit by the bar. There are no tables over there. And we literally don’t get to have dinner. Never in my life have I’ve been treated like this at an upscale establishment. This is something that would never happen at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Château, Bel Air hotel. And when we’re sitting in the lobby, trying to finish our drinks where they told us, we could sit the same man and all of his friends are literally laughing at us sitting there. One of my friends who knows a few regulars there, texted one of them, and he was absolutely appalled at the way they treated us. I can’t imagine they treat all of their patrons like this, If Kendall Jenner had walked in there, do you really think they would’ve gotten mad at her for getting appetizers and cocktails. The funny thing is you don’t treat anyone like that regardless of status.

Barbara greeted our party very warmly. She is a lovely woman and Tony took care of our table. My water glass was never at half, he was so on top of it! Eric stopped in to check on us a few times and was equally wonderful, and even Pedro the busser was so warm and attentive. The view is incredible, the breeze was perfection as we were on the Terrace and it was just a phenomenal experience all around. Lobster tacos for the win and we had some delicious cookies at the end of the meal. Great food, amazing staff! Loved it 🩵
waiters could have been more attentive vs. chatting away they should "always be looking" at the customers to see if anyone is waving for service....
I've absolutely loved this place over the years. The ambiance is usually top notch and the service exceptional. The dim lighting and candlelight makes for a romantic evening.this time was a bit different, as we were seated opposite the service door. Which defeats the propose of the dim lighting, each time it opened - our eyes had to adjust to see anything. It became exceptionally problematic for my guest... better luck next time. Consider a tip for others who want to keep this gem, the polished location it usually Is.
The wait staff was amazing and attentive. Food was great, will come back to try something different 😁

Overall, our waitress was phenomenal, and we really enjoyed her service. Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming. Very little flavor and extremely expensive and we've had better in places that are a little less pretentious. We were also a little turned off that we had an 8:30 PM reservation and we weren't seated until 9 o'clock at night. Although that might be a norm for the area, it seems like something the restaurant should inform us so that they don't make plans around a certain meal time. The drinks were also not incredibly flavorful so I wouldn't recommend ordering beverages from the restaurant. The ambience was pretty, and the view was great. But I think that this is a place that you might want to go to start the night with a cocktail or two at most and potentially appetizer (we did love the deviled eggs, but that was about it).

Everyone is so perfectly trained. Dimitri is a master in hospitality. He should teach a master class
Always our favorite place. My husband‘s been coming here for years. The food is outstanding, the service is outstanding. It was my birthday and we had a great time. We like that it's dimly lit. The only thing that I would change is the piano player is quite loud and it's hard to hear the person you're talking to sometimes but I guess you can sit further away. Great place.
Simply, the best, always, the kindest staff the most delicious food, and the ambience is can be BEAT one of my favorite places in Los Angeles
