Good Mexican food for a sunset strip location. I had the tortilla soup and it was nice and spicy.

It’s always a hit or a miss with tocaya. Either they don’t have the cheese that is described on the menu for my order and they replace it with mozzarella cheese? or they give me a bunch of crushed chips. Or today the Baja fish tacos I ordered were basically fish sticks wrapped in a tortilla. That’s not Mexican food at all. Their new potato tacos has no flavor but when all the ingredients are correct as they are offered on the menus it’s good! Just wish it was that way forever.

4.5/5Pretty and cozy seating, quick service and delicious food! Also very happy to see so many vegan options. The vegan chick'n soup was such a unique and refreshing dishThe vegan taco sampler was delightful too!My only qualm is about the small portion sizes. But I guess the pricing seems to match it.

Pretty good. Could be better if it was more authentic.

This was a great place for fresh and healthy Mexican food. They had really good vegetarian options. The service was nice and the patio is nice to sit and people watch on sunset. Love it here.

Have been a customer at Tocaya for years, until they got the new manager initially he was at the Beverly center Tall tattooed white guy. Was extremely rude and pushy. I called and complained. Stopped visiting that location for a few months, decided I would give them a try on sunset I walked into there and first thing he said was your the one who complained about me and was very rude so I didn’t even order just left.

This place offers huge value for the price and quality of food it has. It is not a fancy mexican restaurant by far, but it has pretty good mexican food. The bowls are also a pretty decent size for a portion and they tasted really good! Highly recommend for a quick and relatively cheap dinner (compared to other mexican places).Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.

I would love to give a better review, but after 15 minutes trying to order off the app, we finally gave up and left. If you’re going to use technology, make sure you have a stable internet connection for customers to use. Also, fewer clicks to get to order would help. So, having to register first to get on an email list for specials when we just wanted to order was not how we wanted to start. Then, for each item to download and then waiting for the order to confirm and the having to repeat the process (and all we wanted was drinks and tacos—just 7 items) and then never actually getting to finalize the order as we watched the little circle go around and around and around for the umpteenth time, we finally just packed it in and went to Mel’s Diner where a real waitress appeared within moments and we had ordered in less time than it took me to write this or you to read it. Next time I want Mexican food in West Hollywood, I’ll drive somewhere else.

I Got nachos. They opened my order up in front of me & digged all around the chips just to take out an extra salsa they “accidentally” put in my order. No gloves on either. So petty.
