I guess open table says when the person who is booking's bday is coming up and they made me a little card x gave me a dessert with a little candle it was adorable. Loved our waiter Abraham x

Best vegan restaurants in LA. Excellent, fresh food with diverse menu. Absolutely beautiful courtyard. Always excellent service, unruffled by my multiple special request. Super fun and cool. 

The food and waiter were excellent. My only gripe was that I specifically noted that it was my partner's birthday and they completely ignored that. This is my partner's favorite vegan restaurant in LA, and it felt like they really dropped the ball.

My 2nd experience at this amazing venue! I've been present for lunch & dinner thus far! The decor, service and most importantly, the food continues to be an experience I want to continue. The menu, food substitutes and display is impressive! I'll be back for brunch!

I really like this restaurant. The food and service are really good but I told them we were celebrating a birthday at the table and they didn't do anything. Disappointing.

I really forgot that Gracias Madre was vegetarian when I made the reservation. The ambiance is incredible and our server was gentle and attentive. Notwithstanding the lack of carnage, it was the right choice

This was my 2nd visit to Gracias Madre. They never disappoint. We were celebrating 'Taurus' Birthdays this go around and all of my friends were surprised that we enjoyed a Vegan restaurant so much! The Nachos, the hibiscus margarita and the guacamole are always the sure bet. It doesn't matter when I come here; the host is always friendly and hospitable. The 3-taco entrée was delicious too! When I stepped onto the patio, I felt like I'd stumbled into a lush, boho garden party. The vibe is effortlessly chic, filled with sunshine, plants, and that easy LA cool. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help—you can tell they love what they do. Now, let's talk about the food because WOW. I had the chilaquiles (because if there are chilaquiles on a menu, I have to try them), which were at the next level. They were smoked, rich, and perfectly balanced with a little crunch and spice. I paired it with a spicy mezcal margarita (because brunch calories don't count, right?), and it was the ideal combo of heat and citrusy kick. I also snagged a bite of my friend's gorditas de papa and instantly regretted not ordering them. To wrap it up, their tres leches cake is so good. Do yourself a favor and order one — thank me later. Gracias Madre. You've officially earned a permanent spot in my brunch rotation. I'm already counting down to my next visit.
