I just moved across the street from this place and was super excited to check it out, since I I love sushi and usually spend at least $150 a week on it. Anyway, I came in with my girlfriend and it's a very small place - there were two free tables and the bar was completely open except for two people at the end. The waitress asked if we had a reservation, I said we did not, and she led me between one of the free tables and the bar, she then disappeared into the back. We stood there awkwardly for a minute or two waiting if she was gonna tell us where to sit. We eventually just sat at one of the free tables. Minutes later, a waiter bringing food for someone else comes by and tells us "you can't sit there without a reservation!" Ok, misunderstanding, so I get up and ask if we can sit at the bar. The waiter snaps "Yes but ONLY for one hour!" At that point, I just decided to leave. I was kind of embarrassed with everyone watching us and the waiter acting like we were some riff-raff lucky to be in their restaurant and had to hurry up and leave! I went to Niko Niko Sushi instead.

Terrible service. Our waiter had attitude from the second we sat down for no apparent reason. Every time we had a question about the menu she looked at us like we were idiots. So disappointed in this place. Overpriced sushi I was hoping to at least have a good experience.

Best sushi in LA after Matsuhisa hands down! You either know or you don't. You not going for the ambiance you going for the food! The End

Food is 10/10, decor and ambiance needs some work but when the food is this good who cares.

My favorite sushi spot in all of Southern California. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu but my favorite is BY FAR the tuna carpaccio with truffle.. the yellowtail with jalapeí±o is also amazing. LISTEN TO ME: do not go home or exit the restaurant without having either of those. The owner is always there and he's really nice. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Evenings can't get quite busy so be sure to call before you walk in. This is not your typical walk in sushi joint.

So bad. Do NOT go here. Sushi quality is unacceptable and downright disrespectful. It literally tastes like cardboard. The sea bass is so small and undercooked. What a waste of money.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here. It is a wonderful mix of quaint meets refined meets funky and fun. It's very small, but that's part of the charm. The sushi and the service are BOTH excellent. I have food allergies, and they were extremely accommodating and kind. As far as the food goes, the T.T. Roll was my favorite! My husband said that the Philly was the best philly roll he had ever had. And the iced green tea is incredibly light and refreshing. If you're in West Hollywood, I highly recommend. Get a reservation, though!

This is one of the best sushi restaurants that I eaten at - and there have been many. The food is fresh, creative, and delicious. The service was exceptional. I recommend it without reservation ( but you will need reservation if you want table.)

HORRIBLE. This place should receive no stars. The sushi was disgusting and tasted like plain white rice because there was a sliver of fish in the rolls. The fish on the main menu was not fresh and the size of a thumb. Everything was overpriced for cardboard food. This is my first review on yelp, which should tell you a lot that I downloaded this to write the review. Save yourself

The best sushi place in town!!!! It's a small place , nothing fancy but food is unforgettable! My fav are buckwheat soba risotto, tuna carpaccio and crispy spicy salmon.

Nothing fancy, when it comes to decor... but, fish quality is high. I like this place, for the quality and a break from typical LA.
