This place does have really pretty good food. The pancakes are top-notch and the biscuits I thought were really pretty well done also. I did order a steak and eggs and my steak was decent. It’s a greasy spoon diner so I’m not gonna be too overly picky about it Services is OK, they get busy so they find themselves in the weeds and it can sometimes be difficult to get a check if you don’t ask for it as soon as the food drops. Otherwise, I really enjoy this place.

Ordered 2 burgers for my friend & myself. Waitress asked how we'd like our burgers cooked. We both said well. My burger was cooked. My friends' burger was very pink inside. He sent back. Waitress brought back 2nd burger, that one was way under cooked worse. So we weren't charged for his undercooked burgers, Waitress offered to have cook make 3rd one. He refused. Waitress was nice, not her fault. So our lunch visit was horrible. My friend decided against ordering again & we paid for my meal. Usually, we've had zero issues in the past. Not sure what was issue with getting the burger cooked well like my order was.

You wouldn't expect this restaurant in that neighborhood... Cornerstone stands alone on busy Reed avenue. This restaurant is large and clean, serving classic American diner food. Decorations are minimal almost as if all their efforts are put into their food. It shows. Their portions are ample. Their meals are outstanding. The staff is friendly and they serve your delicious food quickly. One of three locations, this Cornerstone, like the others, does not disappoint.
Loved the patty melt. Great hot French fires . Good iced tea. Excellent service. I will return to try breakfast.

My little family had dinner here for the first time on January 23, 2024 around 6:30pm. It wasn't packed at all. Our waitress was very nice. We had no complaints at all. The food was very very delicious. Everything we had was flavorful. I would absolutely recommend you go if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed. ?
