First off the outside of the building doesn't do it justice. The inside is full of warm and color. The smell as you enter has you mouth watering. I haven't had much food in this genre so it was truly a treat. Taste quantity and value were great. It was moderately busy with a quite a bit of take-out. Very happy with my purchase and will return with friends.

It was near closing when we went in for a take out order of two chicken over rice platters. The guy working the counter respectfully explained to the few customers in line that they were almost out of chicken for the day and offered a solution so all customers were satisfied. I think that was genuinely nice for him to do. We live in the east bay, otherwise would love to come here more often for the food and service. We used to be big fans of their food truck when we lived here back in 2016.

So happy they opened up a restaurant in the area. I'd heard a lot of good things about their food, and I'm glad I finally got to try it out. Have tried the chicken, lamb, fish, and chapli kabab platters since they opened, and it all has been absolutely delicious. Their fries are amazing as well. The red sauce isn't just hot for the sake of being hot. It's got a little bit of dpice, and a lot of flavor. It compliments the food, and the white sauce.

Been eating at Shah's for 10+ years since they were just a food truck with a few locations in Davis. I love that they finally have a restaurant space! Food quality is still great!

Food was so damn good. Only bad thing... It's a bit far down on West Capitol. Wish it was a bit closer to downtown. Very very good food tho. I've been back a bunch of times and it never misses.

Picked up to go, first time trying this place. Not sure how I feel about it. The portion is smaller than I had imagined. I ordered extra protein for 3 dollars more but I couldn't tell it was extra. I'm not sure if it's the hot sauce they have over or the chicken was salty, very little lettuce on the side but lots of rice. The pita bread was big and good tasting.
