Such a fun find for a work trip! Three pool
Tables in a separate room, fantastic service, delicious food and Touch Tunes for music. The pool room was a little hot and temperature control was a challenge, but we’re in a heat wave presently. Happy to find this spot!!

Was there for my friends 50th bday party. She had a live band on the outside patio, which was perfect for the event. You took your drink and food tickets to the bar to place your order and get your drinks, previously set up by the birthday girl who paid for it all. They brought your food to you, which took some time, but they didn't come out to check on you. Fries were good, but calamari was just ok. If you needed something, you just went back to the bar. They did, however, come out to collect glasses and empty plates periodically. Band ended at 10 pm and had started at 6. Was a great time.

Have the best fish and chips there

Pretty much zero service. Had to order food at bar after waiting for drinks for 10 minutes. Never checked on us for 30 minutes. Finally ordered another beer and saw it sit on bar for over 15 minutes. It was t that busy, staff just seemed not to care,

This pub is in need of serious renovations and not so much with the building than with the whole atmosphere and experience..... a majority of the time you come to this place, it is..... Understaffed, sticky, and inconsistent with the drinks. More often than not, once seated service could take forever to acknowledge you and if you sit outside.... good luck being noticed, period. Some of the inner amenities could use an update and some new equipment. This pub has a great location and the space, but staff is just too inconsistent upfront, which is a shame because they actually tend to bring really good food out of the kitchen.

Good food and great vibe

We had a fantastic authentic lunch! Proper fish & chips & bangers and mash! Loved it!

One of the iconic English pub in Sacramento. Great menu selection. My favorite is their fish and chips. Then they have darts.

For starters, Leah and Michelle were Awesome...only equaled by the "Off the Hook Food!". The Beef / Vegetable Stew was one of the best I've ever had (just recently in Ireland) and the Bangers and Mash beat our the ones I had in London in 2000...took 24 years to find them better than "The Black Lion Pub" in London Proper. And, to the guy who had to leave before his scrumptious Garlic Fries (order to go) thank You for your Random act of kindness...they were delicious, as well. Beer selection and heavy pour of Jameson; what more could you ask for!?!? A True Gem in West Sac!!! Get here and tell 'em Teddy sent ya!

Waited over an hour and a half for my food. The staff was rude and passive. I tried to be very nice, but they were irritated I kept checking on my food. The person with me received theirs 30 minutes before before I did. I ordered fish and chips and watched 6 plates of the same dish served to people who were there after me. When i inquired about that i was shooed away and not even offered an apology (I even stated "i onow you guys are super busy"). When i finally received my plate the chef had to bring me the lemons and tartar sauce, because the wait staff didn't have time for me at that point. We won't be back.
