Taqueria Maya's is a must-visit spot, especially for their carnitas torta which hits the spot with its flavorful pork. The bread is soft with a perfect crisp, and the toppings like avocado, tomatoes, and lettuce are fresh. The jalapeños and grilled onions on the side are a tasty addition. The three carne asada combo plate is a favorite, but the pollo is just as good. The tacos are generously loaded with meat. Excellent, authentic Mexican food like the carnitas meat plate comes with superb salsa and grilled onions. The red sauce is sooooo good too.
Located conveniently off the freeway in a warehouse-laden area, Taqueria Maya's offers fresh tortillas at great prices. It's a food truck with limited parking and outdoor seating, so expect flies at the table. The service is great, but it's cash only. Calling ahead helps skip the long lines since they are busy most of the time. A great stop for delicious food!
