Bonibi Coffee

Bonibiis a quaint local coffee shop with super-friendly staff behind the counter, a welcoming environment to sit and chat or knock out some work on the laptop, while sipping on a well-crafted and delicious coffee overlooking the lake. It doesn't get much better! Haven't tried any of the food yet, however, they do make a solid flat white and mocha!

Unfortunately, our experience at Bonibi Coffee was awful. The blonde girl who took our order was extremely rude. She had a clear attitude, refused to give us her name when asked, and was not welcoming at all. Another customer even confronted her directly and told her she was unkind — which says a lot.

The drinks were just as disappointing. They were overpriced and poorly made — watery, tasted like spoiled milk mixed with ice, and my friend’s drink was half empty when it was served. Absolutely not worth the price.

Overall, the service was terrible and the drink quality was horrible. It honestly felt like customers were being taken advantage of with low-quality drinks at high prices.

Why does this establishment allow staff like this, and why are drinks being served at such poor quality?

I’ll definitely be telling others to avoid this place.

Bonibi Coffee Shop is truly a hidden gem! The coffee here is the best I’ve ever had – rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Every sip feels like it’s made with real passion and care. On top of that, the atmosphere is unbeatable. Sitting with a cup of coffee and enjoying the gorgeous lake view is such a relaxing and refreshing experience. Whether you come to work, meet friends, or just take a quiet moment for yourself, Bonibi is the perfect spot. Absolutely my favorite coffee shop!

Cute coffee shop with views of Westlake, a beautiful but strange (perfectly manicured) lake community. Bonibi has a great selection of drinks, with home made syrups, and a nice selection of treats. Only complaint is that the cashier is giving the zoomer stare 👁️👄👁️. other one looked very nice though :)

Iced matcha latte has no flavor at all. They put a lot of milk and a lot of ice. The lady who took order was also rude. She asked if we wanted our drinks sweetened, we said yes, she said “with what?” with a lot of attitude.

After some serious Google Maps scrolling, I landed on Bonibi Café & Shop, and let me tell you—it delivered on every single one.

Walking in around 10am on a Thursday, I was immediately impressed by the layout. Indoor and outdoor seating was plentiful, with large tables perfect for setting up a laptop and getting work done. No cramped corners or loud echoey chaos—just a calm, comfortable space to relax or focus.

☕ Coffee: Absolute Quality
I ordered a nitro cold brew and knew from the first sip it was going to be good. Bonibi uses coffee beans from Portland—where I used to live—and the taste brought back so much nostalgia. Smooth, bold, and expertly made. If you know good coffee, you’ll taste the difference immediately.

🥐 Strawberry Croissant: One of the Best I’ve Ever Had
This deserves its own paragraph. Their strawberry croissant was easily Top 3 of my life. Unlike the overly filled ones that explode the moment you bite in, this was balanced and beautifully crafted. Flavorful, light, and clean—no mess, just perfection.

The staff were friendly and clearly skilled. Despite a small line when I walked in, the service was efficient and thoughtful. The overall vibe is chill and welcoming. They also have a retail section in the café that adds a cozy, curated feel—perfect for browsing while you wait or after you eat.

Located near a peaceful lake, this place offers more than just great coffee. You can take your drink for a relaxing walk or just unwind outdoors. If I lived nearby, this would hands-down be my daily spot for work, coffee, or just a moment of peace.

One of our favorite places to get delicious lattes. The baristas are so friendly and the drinks are consistently well made. We also love that the coffee shop opens up to this beautiful man-made private lake in the back. Great place to walk around and enjoy your coffee!
