We went on a Sunday during the farmers market around ten AM. Our first time visiting. I ordered the cloud surfer coffee which tasted lovely and had the tuna sandwich. It tasted good but was dry. The fruit was excellent and the Tajin was a nice touch. My friend ordered the special berry toast which was slightly burnt. My sister ordered the scramble with no onions. It had to be remade because they included onion the first time. She's allergic. Most of the employees were thoughtful and kind. My sister burnt her mouth on her Chai. She told the employee with long blonde hair and glasses that the drinks are too hot and she got burned and the employees response was "yeah it's hot". Later she brought our other drinks to the table, and not only didn't greet us, but didn't even say which drink was which. She didn't say a word. Dropped the drinks and left. This is the type of employee to run your business into the ground. I wouldn't want her as my coworker either. I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was having a bad day. All the other employees were super helpful. I want to come back to try the tacos. Sitting outside is super nice. There's a QR code that you can order from and they bring your food to you. Super convenient. It is very busy at noon and parking is a mess due to the farmers market. Good for bike riders, families and yes you can bring your dog and sit outside. Thankful for this vegan cafe, despite the one person trying to ruin it for everyone else....

Joi Cafe truly brings me so much joy. I love how delicious, fresh, and healthy their food and beverages are. Excellent customer service. I was on spring break this week and went three times. Highly recommend the iced matcha latte and the oatmeal. But the thing that wanted me to jump on yelp the most and write a review was the OWNER, Joi. She is incredibly hands on (has been from the start) She walks around checking on customers, picking up empty dishes, and is extremely friendly and personable. Despite all the celebrities that frequent her business and all the popularity her cafe has gained through the years, she has remained humbled and hard working. So much respect for her. I will continue to support this business. They deserve more than 5 stars in my opinion.

I absolutely love JOi Cafe! It is definitely pricey but a must try place for vegan and non vegan people. Everything they serve is delicious. They make the best coffee I've ever had. I love getting the cloud cold brew drink, woopie pies, cookies, and their burgers. Their ceaser salad is also fantastic. The breakfast burrito was interesting. It was cut in half and half of it had a patty and the other half didn't so maybe they just didn't mix it in well. It was dry and not very yummy but everything else I've had has always been delicious.

My wife and I were in the area and we like to try different places so we decided to try this spot (we aren't vegan). I ordered the cold foam coffee and the breakfast burrito. Everything tasted great, the only complaint I have was the burrito was wrapped a bit weird so the burrito came undone and I had to eat it with a fork. It was busy on a Sunday morning like most food establishments, but after ordering we received our food in about 12 minutes. There is an option to order from your table by scanning the q code which was very convenient. I would eat here again.

I ordered my usual Blue Lavender collagen. Today it was very under par, it tasted like ice, no flavor of the nut butter or blueberries. Not sure if someone new made it and skimped on the ingredients but I am not sure I will go back, I feel like someone robbed me of my hard earned money on this purchase I was basically drinking flavored ice. Just received a very nice response form the owner stating that the staff has been spoken to and that this error should not happen again.

Everyone deserves a little sweetness in their life. In Westlake, CA one of the best quick stops to treat yourself and your loved ones is the JOi Cafe. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Friendly service, easy parking and joyful vibe.

Their superfood pancakes make me never want regular pancakes ever again! Made from chia, flax, hemp seed and banana, they're just so delicious. They give you pure maple syrup too.

Food is pretty good for the most part and of course fresh and selective of quality and creative. I appreciate that a lot! I think things are very expensive though and some items I understand why and others not so much. We have babies so we asked what was on the oatmeal to make sure it wasn’t too crunchy for them and the guy made a mistake and forgot to say granola. Mistakes are totally ok and that’s not the issue and we are very polite. It was bizarre when after we went up to buy a side of oatmeal they said they’d have to charge us for an entire meal which is somewhere like $15. I then spoke up and said that we couldn’t feed it to our baby because it has granola in it and they forgot to tell us that. They asked us if we had eaten it and I had scooped out the bottom 2 spoons of oatmeal to try and get some plain oats but there wasn’t much and it got mixed together. The girl came over and took the oatmeal to go throw it away in the back in kind of a rude manner and brought us out plain oatmeal. Pretty bizarre behavior to want to throw it away instead of leaving it on the table when it was their mistake. We also wanted a bagel with no toppings and they had to charge us full price, another $13. You might ask why not go elsewhere and it’s hard with kids, when they need to eat you can’t just pick up and leave for another restaurant.

My breakfast burrito was cut in half creating lots of tiny pieces of tinfoil in my burrito. We also had French toast that was really good. My latte was delicious. For dessert we got peanut butter chocolate dessert. It was frozen solid, so we had to take it home. That was a little disappointing. The service was good. The ambience was nice. I'll give it another try.

Good, healthy organic food, I had the Latin love Bowl which was very flavorful and a bit spicy. On a separate day I had the Beast Burger which also is very flavorful and gooey from the cheeseVegetarian options: Everything here is vegan and gluten free so you don't need to ask. I'm amazed. I had so nice lunch over here. It was so perfect, all the flavors in all the dishes. The huevos rancheros (I forgot to take a picture) with 'egg' is a bomb, everything on the plate tasted so much! I felt like I was dining in France lol. We also ordered breskfast beyond sausages with hashbrown and veggies, and it was perfect too. As a side it came with pancake. It made us think to order the whole pancake menu, but we were already full....what else to say. They have very nice display of very unique all vegan desserts, high quality vegan cheeses and I bet the smoothies are delicious too, because as I've seen on other tables, they have something like whipped cream on top! I can't wait to have another opportunity to visit this place! (If you come on Sunday, there is a farmer's market going on that day and you can buy nice organic local fruit and veggies after having this great food)Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan.Dietary restrictions: Everything is dairy, fish, egg-free and there is variety of gluten-free and nut-free dishes, desserts and baked goodies.

The best cafe ever. Love all of their plant based and gluten free menu. Especially enjoyed their avocado toast. Above all, we appreciate their organic coffee beans that are 3 bags for $50 or a huge bag for $100. Order able on their website and ready for pick up quickly. Everyone is super friendly and the ambiance inside and outside is delightful. We are thrilled about their local business love and care for their community and healthy lifestyle cafe.

Been here a few times in the past years, revisited and everything I always get tastes so good, I enjoy the atmosphere and the vibes, it can get a little busy but the outdoor seating and ordering from table helps to make it easier, the service is great and everyone is polite, food always has great flavor and ingredients, I went with friends and tasted their food as well everything was so good
