Cashier not friendly at all, her attitude was very irritable. No comparison to Santa Barbara.

AVOID AT ALL COST. THE RATING IS BUILT FROM FORMER REVIEWS. THIS PLACE IS NOT LIKE IT WAS BEFORE
My family and I were throwing up after dining here
Your gut may tolerate it but try to avoid this place regardless. You will not do any favor to your body by consuming their food
I used to love this place. Yesterday, I made my last visit because of the food poisoning Their food tastes good like before. However, I think, part of the problem is that they started acting cheap and use older ingredients or it could be due to quality of oils they use.
They bumped up the prices drastically, and decided to ruin the quality

Los Agaves was one of our favorite spots, but after our last visit WE ARE HAVING A FOOD POISONING! The only food that I ate was their Los Agaves enchiladas yesterday, and vomited all of it! We will not return to this place after that awful experience.

Los agaves has been my family and I’s favorite Mexican restaurant to visit for the past couple years now. We’ve ventured around the menu and everything we get is delicious! We love visiting the west lake village location as well as the Santa Barbara location on De la vina street. Both exceptional!
I’ve seen a couple reviews complaining as to why servers don’t come take our orders at the table. God forbid you have to order your own food at the register. I personally don’t mind at all. In addition I’ve always received great service when visiting. 10/10 I recommend to any one every chance I get!

Such a good atmosphere. Food is fresh. I sat outdoors, a very lovely lunch. They did get my order wrong but they were quick to fix it

Good food, it's clean and all, but you have to get your soft drink at the fountain and you order at the register. But the food was very good and tasty. A bit too loud and busy for my taste.

This place never misses. IMO the best Mexican food from Agoura to Newbury Park. Ingredients are just great quality. Service always fantastic. I highly recommend this place. All the food pictures with two margaritas and tip about $150. Pricey? Not for what you get.

This place is set up as a restaurant with tables, a full bar and servers running back and forwards with food. But the servers won't take your order - they just bring the food and clean away the dishes. You have to order your food and drinks at the counter - which makes this place seem like a cafe or a fast food place. Such an odd system and totally unnecessary. Why not have the servers just take your order when you sit down?? You have to grab your own box if you have leftovers and since you have to order everything at the counter, it all comes out at the same time. The carne asada was good but the tostada salad was not. We didn't enjoy the experience so wouldn't go back.
