Hadn't been to Marmalade in awhile and was surprised to see it had been remodeled to resemble a cafeteria:( Whereas Marmalade WAS, a unique restaurant with style, it had antiques, beautiful plates on the wall, pillows and cushions on the window seatings. Wallpaper and chair rails, now it is all one drab color, the molding has been removed, it's got new metal, and plastic tables and chairs, not the warm, unique atmosphere it used to have:( Also the menu is smaller and not as unique of dishes. I guess that's what everyone wants now, plain, cheap, cafeterias instead of comfortable, warm unique restaurants?

Beware of the surprise 3% added to your bill to cover Marmelade Corp credit card service charge they have to pay to credit card companies? This is BS. Marmelade Cafe and any other business negotiates their service fee. Why would your patrons have to cover what they failed to negotiate? Additionally , they have raised their menu prices again. Not worth the price in many ways. Very deceptive practices. Will not return.

The famous American style all-day brunch in town. Come here late at around 15:30 then it has changed to the dinner menu as the Benedict are no longer available. Tried the chicken pasta as the sauce is creamy while the chicken breast stripe is fully seasoned and cooked, it comes out to be a huge bowl. Tried the prime rib in the french dip as the rib slices are sauced while additional sauce is offered. I had to say the bread is not as crispy as I thought which comes out to be a soft one. The Tiramisu is great as the staff tells me they make it everyday at the store. It comes out to be a huge one, which makes me totally full but with much happiness. The staff are really welcome, offering the refill for the tasty lemon juice and always ask about my dining experience. Might come back for brunch next time!

Great food and service. A little crowded because it's popular.

I recently visited Marmalade Cafe for the first time with my wife and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Despite spending $100 on breakfast, the service we received from our waitress, Autum, was subpar. From the moment we sat down, it was evident that Autum was in a hurry, rushing to take our order without even bringing the water we requested. We had to flag down a busboy for water after waiting for 10 minutes. Autum continued to rush through our order, nearly walking away before I could finish, and forgetting to take additional drink orders. When our food finally arrived, it felt like a "hit and run" as Autum quickly dropped off our plates and disappeared without checking on us or offering refills. To add to the frustration, she hastily dropped off the bill before we were finished, leaving us unable to order more drinks. Overall, the service was disappointing and left us feeling neglected. Additionally, there was confusion about the butter and jam brought to our table, which seemed to be intended for toast that never arrived. Based on this experience, I won't be returning to Marmalade Cafe anytime soon.

Although service was good the food was not. The crispy chicken was so overcooked it wasn't edible. The fritatta was overcooked as well.

The service there is better than perfect. Quick, efficient, people friendly. The place was packed but didn't have to wait to be seated. They also have 2 patios. Good is delicious.1/15/24 I just went there after their remodel and absolutely love the change. The inside eating area now is so open and roomy. It feels even better than before. What I really noticed yesterday evening, around 7:30 pm on 1/15/24 was the service. Wow. Perfect as can be. I don't know the name of the girl that served us but she deserves a hundred stars.Vegetarian options: Their salads and soups are vegetarian and delicious
