Went on a Sunday to try their brunch menu. I was surprised it wasn't packed at first because their food and service is amazing. I tried the New York Steak and Eggs - tender grilled New York strip, guajillo sauce, over-easy eggs, breakfast potatoes and fresh fruit. The steak was perfectly cooked and was nice and juicy. The guajillo sauce really made the dish. It complimented the eggs and steak perfectly. The fresh fruit on the side was a nice addition as well... (I'd ask for it on a separate plate next time as I don't like my cold fruit to touch my hot food). We also got the DIY Mimosas - a bottle of Zonin prosecco and a trio of orange, pomegranate and peach juices. The prosecco by itself was really good (I'm not a big drinker). The peach juice had to be my favorite of the three juices. Would definitely recommend.

Always good food and service. Everyone is so friendly and always keeps my drink filled. From the food to the atmosphere, we always love coming back!

The food was horrendous, service was okay. Calamari was so salty and tasted like it came out of a freezer box from ralph's. It was terrible. Chicken parmesean was also not good and i took that back. ambiance was okay. I do not recommend, i will never come back.

I came here to celebrate mine and my lady's anniversary date. The happy hour menu is great tasting and priced right. Sat at the bar and the drinks made by our bar tender Jen were amazing. The service was also great. The atmosphere was spot on. Food was timed perfectly. Will be returning again.

The happy hour menu is such a treat. Wings, burger, & tacos between two people was great. The bartenders make the experience - especially Jen. Her drinks are made with love & you can tell she knows what she's doing. Definitely coming back for the happy hour with family. Lighting inside is good. Two TVs at the bar.

Service was excellent. Food served to us in 15 minutes. Very attentive server and manager came over several times to check. Food was also excellent. I had the steelhead sandwich which was tasty and filling. Recommend!

It was our first time going to Paul Martin's, there were 7 of us, we went for Sunday Brunch/Lunch. The restaurant was not busy, I estimate about a third of the restaurant was occupied. Only one of us ordered brunch. The rest ordered off the regular menu. The food was pretty good, however the service was extremely slow. Our reservations were at 1, drink orders were taken promptly (within 10 min) however took about 20 min to receive them, our order wasn't taken until the drinks arrived about 1:30, food arrived around 2, and we ended up leaving after 3. The waitress was very pleasant, I just felt like we were put in a corner and were checked on as an afterthought. I may give it another shot, but would not be my first go to at this point.

Came here with my best friend for Valentine's Day dinner and we had a lovely 5 star worthy experience from start to finish. It is always a gamble going out on Valentine's Day as every place is Uber packed and sometimes as a result service and quality can suffer but not here. This is definitely a restaurant to come to for a special event or a holiday as they are super prepared for the masses and delivered such great service and food that we will be back. We had reservations for 7:15pm and were seated immediately. Who doesn't love that? We had a sweet little table near the bar. It was a good spot as it actually wasn't too loud but we could have a good view of the restaurant. The restaurant was elegant but not overdone. The decor was on the simpler side but nice table clothes and roses on tables. Very clean looking decor and feel. The menu was impressive with lots of starters, salads, mains, and desserts to choose from. I totally appreciated that they didn't have a set menu, this was our issue with a lot of places we looked at. Set menus are usually overpriced and you risk not loving all the dishes. It was nice that they had their regular menu but also some special Valentines cocktails and special dishes for the night. This is the way to do it in my opinion. Service was 5 stars! Super attentive and everyone was lovely. We were impressed with how well paced the meal was. The drinks came out quick as did the meal. Since we weren't hear on a formal date, just two girls friends enjoying the celebration together it was nice to not be stuck at a "two hour dining" kind of vibe that usually fancy restaurants pace everything out so slow to keep you there and ordering drinks. We were in and out within an hour but definitely not rushed. We were just hungry so we were glad that everything came out pretty quick despite how busy they were. Our servers name was Samantha and she was a doll. Attentive but didn't overdo it. She gave subtle check ins but allowed us our space. She was very nice and everything came out to perfection. The manager also was a nice gentleman, he checked up on us and even provided us with some free coupons for our next visit to get us back. Very hospitable here. The cocktails, food, and desserts were 5 stars all day long. I had one of the best Moscow mules I've ever had. I love them here and learned that last year when I tried this restaurant in another state. They make a mean mule and the raspberry flavor was refreshing. My steak was cooked a perfect rare/medium rare just like I asked. The lobster was extravagant and the sauce was sublime. A delicious, rich, treat yo self kind of a meal. My friend had the braised short rib and that was equally as tasty. We shared bites and were impressed. Lastly we ended with some tiramisu and their famous butter cake. I'm a major sucker for butter cake, it's one of my favorite restaurant deserts if I have to have one. It was super buttery and warm, we devoured this dish. A must order if you have room at the end of a meal. This is definitely a 5 star worthy restaurant in Westlake Village. Thank you guys for making our besties Valentine's Day so special. :)

First time eating at a Paul Martin's restaurant. I was expecting food comperable to BJs or The Cheesecake Factory. Overall food was mediocre and somewhat boring. Our service was great, we had a very attentive waitress and she was very helpful. The atmosphere was OK but the lighting is very dim where we were seated. Overall the experience was below what I would expect for the price of the meal.

Love the happy hour here! Great drinks - we especially enjoyed the lemon drop martinis - citrusy and pretty too! Ordered yummy bites for the table - meatballs, margherita flatbread and deviled eggs - to go with our drinks. One in our party ordered the fish sandwich combo which was a generous portion for both the sandwich and fries that went with it - a great value. Our server was sweet to keep checking on us and advise when happy hour was ending. Split our check too which made our group gathering easy to settle up. Will be back and highly recommend!

Our return experience at PM was wonderful. Our server was awesome, and the food was excellent. This experience will have us returning often. So glad that they asked us to return, and proud they responded with a great performance! Thank you,

Tera

Not the best service. Very slow and inattentive wait staff. They took so long taking someone else's order that the couple actually left after waiting for 15 minutes. Food was average taste, but overpriced. Zero ambience on the patio.

My wife and had a reservation for 2 for our valentines dinner. There was only 1 other table outside when we were seated. 5:30. We ordered drinks, then there were 4 other tables seated near us over the next 1/2 hour and they had ALL received their drinks and some of their orders were taken. We never received our drinks, never got to order. Feeling completely ignored we left, I was so disappointed, was really looking forward to our Valentines dinner. Sad, We goto PM quite often and have never been ignored like that. Called and asked speak with a manager, they were suppose to call me but never did:( -Scott
