This location and its sister location Newbury Park have the best Pozole hands down that I have tried anywhere PERIOD! The north is flavorful, the meat portion is always more than generous. The most impressive thing about it is how incredibly clean the broth is. If you know pozole then you know what I’m talking about. Don’t sleep on it. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture as I am always too excited to remember to take one. Also the breakfast burrito is absolutely amazing. They add grilled vegetables to it. Somehow it absolutely works!!! Another must try. That, I do have a pic hahaha… Definitely recommend this place!

Surprisingly excellent, and at 20 minutes before closing time. I was by myself and I was prepared to get it for take out since they were about to close and I sat down to check out the menu and they offered the reverse (late night) happy hour and I asked for a margarita and asked which one was good and he said the plain margarita was great.. and it was. One of the best ever actually.

And I can't tell you what I ordered because I really don't know. I asked him what he liked - as I usually do - and he told me what he ate there and it sounded good.

(I was a waiter once. They have tasted the food and they know what's good. So if it's remotely in the ball park I'll usually go with their first suggestion.)

And it was awesome. They stayed open late for me and I was the only one there by that time and they didn't rush me out the door, although I didn't dawdle. And it was really excellent. Best I've had in a while.

And the kitchen is open late...not just the bar...which can be a drag if you're looking for restaurants on maps and you can't tell if just the bar is open or the kitchen too. The kitchen was open until the restaurant closed.

And I never gush about a place like this but the whole experience made me happy.

We are locals. We have been here 5x before and will never go back after the horrible experience we had tonight. Waited for almost two hours and got a pathetic overcooked piece of stale fish. Ordered the seafood platter. The longer you wait, the higher the expectations. We had to get up and ask for our check. There was a six top table that got up and walked out because they got no service. Service and food quality were all around unsatisfactory.

I was hoping this Mexican restaurant would live up to the standards of the Latino people living in the Westlake area. They have the opportunity to be a restaurant that ALL would gather and enjoy great authentic Mexican food and the art of mixing a cocktail. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed. I hope you change.

Overall experience was good, but did take a bit to get my main course, which was a aguachile that's mostly served half raw. Once I received it it was worth the wait, I decided to add pulpo and scallpos to my aguachile which made the whole plate even better. For an appetizer, I had the bacon wrapped shrimp and it was also delicious.

It's just not the same or as good since the second store opened in Westlake
Restaurant was near empty but we could not sit at a larger booth style table because we were only 2 and they were expecting a last minute rush🤔 that never happened. Overall disappointed in the food.

We have reservations yesterday and we show up and we walk in and we was waiting for 10 mns only one service in the all restaurant and we stand up and we left I am not recommending this restaurant.

Quaint and cool ambience. Serb he was friendly and fast. We all liked our dishes...food was authentic services with healthy salads/sides. Big fans of the homemade soup, fish and chile rellanos!

Came out for Taco Tuesday for the first time since they opened and was not disappointed. Handmade Tortillas, fresh meat, great chips and salsa. Would recommend to anybody. Such a cool atmosphere and delicious tacos.
