Great food, great drinks, great service. I cannot wait to go back.
We had already eaten dinner on our way to Ralph's and saw this restaurant. So we decided to stop in and check it out. Had a couple of drinks some chips and salsa and guacamole and decided we're definitely going to have to come back here for dinner. Drinks were good chips were good guacamole was good could use a little more jalapenos or spice. Bartender Luis and waitress Dolores were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.
UPDATE 10/25/24
Came back for dinner. Carnitas taquitos, rojo pozole, guacamole and drinks. It was all very tasty. I am still thinking about the homemade corn tortillas. Only bad thing for me was the salsa. It's not bad just not my favorite. Can't wait to go back to try more.

In from out of town, and loved the food. Great service, very attentive. We had a 1y old with us and the staff welcomed us and set us up for a great dinner. Our family has been here a few times, and I would ask them to invite us here anytime they want. The table size is a bit of an issue because the plates are oversized, or too many if you order a lot of food. Any dish is recommend enjoy a great meal here!

Celebrated my husbands birthday here while in town. The experience was exceptional! Amazing and authentic food, clean and trendy scenery, and is family owned. Will choose this restaurant every time we come visit.
It's become a favorite over the last year. They have a great happy hour and the food is consistently good. Only thing they need to work on is knowing when happy hour actually is. Menu says 4 - 6, the website says 3 - 7 or 11 - 7, and the server said it was 4:30 - 6:30. Not going to keep me from going back but just weird and might want to get a handle on that.

Charming place with delicious, authentic food. The owners are so personable, greet the patrons warmly and make sure everything is to your liking. I love coming to El Sancho Loco! It's a warm and fuzzy, happy ambiance and the food is fabulous. Definitely the best Mexican food around. Thank you to owners Joe and Sasha for a delightful experience.
One of the better Mexican restaurants in the valley. We had super attentive service and our entrees (tacos, quesa birria, and one of the burritos) were delicious. They brought us a chocoflan cake for dessert which we really enjoyed. There were no issues being seated quickly. If I had one complaint, it's that their salsa dishes are too shallow to easily dip chips. Will be returning!
I love that I found this gem. They have delicious food and the best salsa, the decor is gorgeous and I love their mocktails!
Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options and mock-tails on their menu

El Sancho in Westlake has become our favorite place to have delishious Mexican food and drinks. Their friendly professional staff are the Best! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
Very nice to have an actual Mexican restaurant in the area. I'm from San Diego, my family is Mexican, and since moving up here I have found it sort of difficult to find actual Mexican food. Sort of expensive but you get what you pay for, especially with inflation, can't really help that right now. Had the Al pastor, and tastes pretty fresh, and the staff were very nice to me. I would say the only negative is how small the place is, understand why, but does leave a bit to be desired if, say, a larger family were to come in and want to sit down. Will come back again and taste some of the other meats, but overall pretty good, authentic (minus the excess grease I am used to at some other places back home), and again, good to see an actual Mexican restaurant in an area full of "artisan" restaurants that charge 20 bucks for a sandwich.
