i’ve lived in this area since 72, i’ve been going here since they opened and ive never had an experience there like ive had today. london, the girl who seemed to be the manager on duty, never cracked a smile once. she had come to the register to help a girl that seemed to be just learning (who was very nice), london came but never said a word to the customer and turned around and finished making the coffee. i ordered an iced chai and when i got it, it tasted like pure milk so i had asked london if she could put more chai in it, she turned to one of her fellow workers and was talking about me as if i wasn’t there. then asked me if i wanted to drink it down so she could pour more chai in there. so my daughter (who is visiting here from new zealand) asked london is she could just pour it out instead. london was very rude and clearly irritated by us. when i then tasted my drink it was still bad so i left it on the counter and told them to take it back. this was the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my town. it was quite embarrassing because we love coffee bean but are now hesitant to go back. we then to starbucks around the corner, from the moment we walked in they couldn’t be nicer, thanking us for our business. your servers should be better trained.

This location used to be managed great until recently in 2025 that some young new girls started working there in the morning shifts
Specially two girls in particular one with braided hair,,, she is rude and disrespectful and argue every time over everything you ask like cream and stuff they don’t know the rules and menus they don’t know the mixes and argue when they are told ,,, absolutely no manners ,,, I have the worst taste from my recent visits that don’t wanna go there anymore
They don’t make the drinks as they are asked they make excuses when they are told ,,overcharge because they don’t have proper training,,, very poor management lately
This store is running very poorly in the mornings dine one rude worker is the other mornings

I have made more than two complaints to corporate that doesn't even have a customer service telephone number ,, because it’s an Asian company across the earth l, as they don’t even care to respond,,, boooo
They are so bad that prompted me to call the other location off of Avenida De Los Arboles and complain to the Lady manger Sue who’s a great store keeper

It's Coffee Bean so you kind of know what to expect. Arguably it is better than the other big brand that's close by ;) Close to work so makes it convenient to hop over and grab that coffee craving for an afternoon pick-me-up. Parking can be a bit of a test of patience in this particular shopping center, however, something usually opens up relatively quickly. There is a good amount of interior seating and also nice size outdoor patio area. Service can be a little hit and miss depending on who is behind the counter (I have had more than one occasion where they took an order and then just forgot to make the drink). Prices are reasonable though, especially compared to some of the more artisinal coffee shops sprinkled around town.
They wouldnt make the drink ive gotten there multiple times before. The guy was texting, the girl was talking to a customer for 10 mins barely working. They spilled my drink and then the other girl at the register was texting. Really weird vibes. Also at the end the drink was not good. Im mad I spent money here
Mocha ice blended always cheers me up and the kids love the baked goods.

Most people on staff I’ve even seen working a shift at CBTL. Location was super clean. Service was super prompt. Plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Classy fire pit outside. And my Americano was as good as always. 5 stars!

The price of a simple ice tea at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Westlake continues to rise while the size continues to diminish. l've learned to order my 32 ounce tea without ice so I can get my full amount that I am paying for. Now they are only fillind the tea 3/4 full and saying that's what the "recipe"calls for.
5$ for an ice tea and this is their customer service?

We were the only customers there, but the order took some time because one lingering employee was asked 3 times to make the coffee, a request he ignored each time, until another employee finally started making the coffee for him. Then, it turned out they didn't even have drip coffee.
