Tikka Grill Healthy Fusion & Catering

I had been craving the food at Tikka Grill Healthy Fusion for months. Came here last week. After trying numerous restaurant foods in the San Fernando Valley. I craved food that completely stands out from everything else. This food definitely has its own identity. The ingredients are so fresh and healthy. Never disappoints has been 100% consistent. Deliciously fresh, healthy. Love it. It's worth the 35-minute drive. Had some somosas that were piping warm, freshly made amazing healthy comfort food hit the spot. Highly highly recommended this restaurant.

Read positive reviews but not for me. We had very less time (had to go to party), ordered food for kids who were staying in hotel. They messed up the order, forgot to put mash potatoes , only had rice with beef. My kid was very disaapointed, when called guy apologized and offered mash potatoes but we cannot go and pick due to less time(and the guy said he doesnt have anyone to drop to hotel). Unfortunately my kid had to eat only beef with rice and on top he didnt like beef cooked to his likings. So this was not for us. Lesson: Always check the order before you leave!

The food was high quality but absolutely tasteless. No spices of any kinds. I thought I’d be having Indian food, but instead just chicken and rice without much flavor and it’s served by Mexican staff, so it’s neither Indian nor Mexican. Not sure what I just ate, and not sure it’s worth $15.

Food and service is exceptional for what it is. It is a generous portion of delicious and well prepared food at a very reasonable price. It isn't a fancy place and the food isn't fancy or pretentious. Just delicious.

I came here thinking it would be Indian food, but I guess it’s more a latin American fusion? There’s salsa next to the watered down tamarind sauce. I got the chicken curry plate and it wasn’t very good. The chicken was soft and tender and well cooked but the sauce lacked flavor. it definitely did not taste like it had Indian spices in it. I am pretty sure that the saffron rice did not have saffron, but instead had achiote seasoning. Theyre both yellow.

Great spot for a healthy and quick lunch. I liked the options they had in their sauce bar; pickled carrots are a nice addition and the green salsa was surprisingly spicy in a good way. I got the chicken kabob plate and was an amazing portion for the $14 price tag. Chicken was very juicy, flavorful and you can tell they didn’t rush the marinade. The vegetable stew was good and I really liked the broth, it was surprisingly rich. The saffron rice was soft with a subtle but noticeable saffron flavor. To get the best bite possible, put the carrots, rice and chicken on the pita with the red and green salsa, then dunk it into the veggie stew; actually delicious. Tikka Grill is nothing mind blowing, but is simple food made to order and made well.
