7 Leaves Cafe Brookhurst

Been here plenty of times and my favorite location to go. Still a great place for drink...trying their new drink, Japanese matcha soy with grass jelly today. Not bad at all. Great service and only to go since doing the drive through and they only have walk up order windows only. Outdoor type of vibe for sure.

Updated reviews as a 9 years customer, very honest:

Pro: coffee here will keep you up all night. Not sure it’s a pro or cons.
- you can get as many coffee shots as you want and it’s free. Not like Starbucks will charge you $1.25 for each shot.
- very quick and convenient for people in hurry to work. Open early and close late.

Cons: hate to say but it’s true based on my own experience and my coworkers
- extra ice = extra ice, regular = extra ice, easy ice = regular ice, no ice = no ice. It’s very frustrating when you want less ice but you still get full ice like a regular one.
- some milk tea are really tasteless, purchased for coworkers and they complain the same so it’s not only me feel it.
- purchased 1 croissant = they always forget it, purchased 2 croissant = they give you 1. Not all the time but 7/10 times and it’s very frustrating when I had to go back and asked for it again. No apologies. There was one time I purchased 4 croissant and they gave me 2. Had to go back but at least the employee was nice to say sorry.

Anyway, their mung bean milk tea is always good.

Store manager won’t allow you to redeem rewards or refund them despite being a loyal customer. I ordered my usual drink around $8 with an extra shot & this time I chose to redeem my points to get my free drink, typically you can get it every time you spend $80 or so, this time despite me telling them there wasn’t an option to add a shot on the app they refused to give me the drink I ordered that was sitting cold for now more then 5 minutes or so right by the drive thru window, I also allowed them to take my phone and check on the app for the option add espresso shot that wasn’t there, in the end I wasn’t returned my points and had to pay for my regular drink, I would have thought customer satisfaction was important to Jazmin the store manager but they failed to realize the apps issue and there loyalty program, this felt like an unfair ultimatum for being a loyal customer. Once I was done asking if I could get a receipt for a refund of the points Jazmin said that they couldn’t provide any of that, to add to it they did not remake the drink and handed me the same one that had been ready for 10 mins or more.

My go-to spot for a quick boba pick-me-up. I've always been a fan of 7 Leaves, and was glad they opened up a location closer to me. This location has a drive-thru!

Their drinks are always consistent and I never have an issue. Get the sea cream jasmine tea with pudding!

Spanish latte, forever fav!

If you’re looking for a sit-down café, this isn’t it. But if you want a quick, refreshing pick-up with really solid drinks — this is your stop.

It’s more of a grab-and-go vibe. Not much seating, mostly people in and out with AirPods and energy. But that passion fruit tea? Super refreshing, perfect balance of sweet and tangy. They also had this nice rice fruit drink (maybe you mean lychee, logan, or coconut?) — definitely worth trying if you want something different.

Not a date spot. Not a hang-out spot. But for a clean, quick boost with bold flavor, 7 Leaves always delivers.

Took forever at the drive thru for a single drink. I asked for easy ice and it's all ice and from the first sip it was watered down. I've been going to different 7 leaves for years and have never had such a bad experience. The girl at the window was actually really nice though so there's that.

hi um my mom and i ordered an assam milk tea and a vietnamese iced coffee, but after we received our drinks my mom found a long, black hair inside her coffee >< the drinks and food are usually very tasty though
