98 Shabu+Grill Seafood buffet

Dirty & sticky chair, table, tray, floor. Not all food is ready at 1200noon. Not busy .No air conditioning, sweating hot from the grill & hot pot. I will not return. Sat 9-20-2025

Place is okay, felt like trying to do both grill and hotpot kind have it being drag all over the place. Limited choice on meet.The marinated meats here are way better than the plain ones and there wasn't that much variety of meat either. Probably like 3 different types. Th snail were good and taro. The place is massive and it was quite empty.

Poor service. The waiters/waitresses can't even keep track of orders from the way they write on the back of the menu paper slip. Wanted Thai tea but heard it was mediocre (they never gave it to me even though they kept saying someone was making it. Nước mía WAY TOO SWEET. Beef broth was essentially phở broth but bland, House Special is just thái đặc biệt/Vietnamese style Tom Yum soup. Low meat quality. Sure there's a lot of sauce options but realistically not many good options either. No good AC (get ready to sweat like no tomorrow)

Some seafood are not fresh. 3.5 for food.

We made a reservation over the phone 2 days in advance. They stressed we arrive on time or forfeit our table. We arrived 15min ahead of time. Nobody at the front. They let two parties that just arrived be seated before us. We told two different servers that we had a reservation but they did not acknowledge it and told us we would have to wait for an hour because they have no open tables. Terrible service. We walked away and went to the legendary Pho 79 instead. Based on other reviews, this place is not worth your time. Unsanitary, unprofessional, disrespectful.

This is my first time here. Foods is good. They are so busy that sometime the vegetables is out. Also on the meats selection is out as well

Hot pot options and buffet items were plentiful, bbq options were minimal, and the table grill used aluminum foil, so they constantly needed changing the plus for me was they still had Crab legs.

I gave this restaurant a fair shot. This place does both hot pot and bbq but it's pretty bad in both aspects.

Food is really low quality with seasonings and marinades being too salty and other meats being so plain. The hotpot tasted like something out of an instant noodle packet.

Along with that, the sanitation and cleanliness of the place isn't up to code at all. Dirty serving plates at the buffet, tongs that are touching raw meat, and serving spoons dipped in unwashed ice buckets. I'm gagging thinking about it right now.

It honestly just feels like it's run by someone who doesn't know about how to manage a restaurant. Everything feels half-baked, which I would've been okay with, if it wasn't so unflatteringly dirty.

I'm probably going to get food poisoning because of this experience. Wish me luck! If I never write a review again, you'll know what happened to me.

Super good. Sunday 11am had snow crab legs. Very nice hosts, refils came frequently.

Wide variety of sauces and seafood and meat for hotpot.

You may have the worst experience. Since there were no customers, most of the food was dry and not fresh, so I was at a loss as to what to eat. There were flies flying around the sauce and king flies were also eating on the crab legs.
