OCD Verified by StevenVietHo Been going here since I was 4 years old and the nostalgia and comfort is everlasting and bliss. Please stop by, do it for aunit and chi.

Ordered Bun Bo Hue Chay ($13) and Durian smoothie ($6.50). Smoothie was small and cup was only 3/4 full. It tasted Ok but is a lot more expensive compared to other vendors in the mall and in OC. BBH Chay soup bowl was very small about 1/2 the size of a regular bowl. The soup was also tasteless with no BBH flavor and the fried tofu pieces floating were old and very hard. I have eaten the same BBH Chay at many other restaurants in OC and this soup is by far the worst ever. If you really want to have legit veg food, try Golden Flower restaurant (Bolsa & Bushard)

If you want to get a taste and ambiance of VietNam before really going to the old country , this little express street food is a good sampling. Yes it's located in a mall food court but it is The Asian Garden Mall! The first mall to be named first Asian something in little saigon . You should try one of each of everything on display ranging from coconut snails to simple egg rolls. Good shapes from round to oblong to rectangular, all is pretty good for the uninitiated.

Avoid this place at all cost. Really long wait for food and when I asked for a refund they refused. They told me employee had to work late last night and blah blah blah.

We usually get the snail in coconut soup here. Lots of traditional sweets up for grabs by the cashier area. Mochi is always a good option. The chewy soft sticky layer cake thing is a nice snack. The sticky rice colorful thing isn't my thing but people seem to like it. The street snacks like skewers or fried stuff or eggroll is a steal. Can be a bit of a challenge if you don't speak vietnamese but luckily you can just grab or point! This establishment has been here for a while. Glad it's still in business thru pandemic.

Hu tieu nam vang is border line acceptable. Go to Cao Binh on the opposite side and it is night and day different. My family split up and ate at both place but mine at C&C was tiny bowl with little meet, tiny hard shrimp vs fresh at cao Binh. They were all $12 a bowl but C&C was ripping off unknown tourists .

We decided to give this place a try after walking around the mall. I ordered the Banh Canh Tom Cua. Hubs liked it and thought it was a good alternative. He preferred pho or bun bo hue but he was on Lent. Banh Canh Tom Cua had eggs and eggs overruled. We also ordered Banh Khot and the spring rolls. Banh Khot was ok and the spring rolls were pretty good. The rolls were pretty herbaceous. He loves it when they're generous with the herbs. Service was pretty friendly and quick. Will definitely return when in the area.

very bad service when i asked the price of corn, she didn't answer me. Next I wanted fish porridge she didn't make until I asked her when she started making it with a very annoyed attitude.

Been here multiple times before… highly recommended to bring a Vietnamese friend so they are able to help you order the foods you want… they could be much nicer to their customers as during the time of my experience they were not super busy.

Delicious, quick

One of the only food spots inside the Asian Garden Mall that takes credit card and Apple Pay. + Bun Bo Hue Chay: Hard to mess up! The broth was a bit on the sweeter side and the protein were good. Gotta love vegetarian Vietnamese ham. + Bun Thit Nuong: The pork was not great. Chewy, cut into strange-sized bites, and a bit dry. The seasoning was not very good either. Not sweet nor savory. Lacked flavor. Too much black pepper. + Nuoc Mia: Freshly squeezed right when you order! Not bad portions and the styrofoam keeps the drink warm for quite a while.
