Kensho is a superb vegan sushi restautant with reasonable prices. I ordered multiple fancy rolls, and loved every bite. Highly recommended!

Truly the best sushi I’ve ever had. Shrimp is so realistic I had to double check. Even the caviar is very realistic. Bring any of your seafood eating friends here and see if they can tell the difference. My favorites were the California roll, Spider roll and Jalapeño Popper roll.

I had a little trouble finding it, but so glad I did. I had the crispy California roll and the shrimp hand roll. Those were delicious and I can’t wait to try the other rolls.

My friend introduced me to this place and I had to try it as a sushi lover. Although the menu was quite small, I got to try 5 different rolls. My favorite was their take on the spicy tuna, and I will definitely be returning to again whenever I’m in the area.

The sushi was great and I kinda liked the simple menu choices. I got the spicy yoga roll and the crunchy Cali and both were great. I wish that they didn’t give me water in a plastic cup and a disposable plate. Real dishes are more eco friendly and enjoyable. The seating is a bit cramped but the restaurant is very cute.

One of the geniuses that brought us the best vegan ice-cream in OC now brings us amazing vegan sushi.
A group of us met up at Kensho last night it took me a little while to find it in this huge 2 story Little Saigon Strip mall, but it was totally worth it. (bottom floor on the Western end of mall) It is a cute little place tastefully decorated and clean. And run by a familiar face in the OC Vegan scene so I knew this was going to be amazing.
Between the four of us we ordered the entire menu. I think my favorite may have been the Yoga Fire or the Spicy Tuna-less the spicy tuna was how I remember it and these were amazing. The Crunchy Cali was pretty solid as well. I loved the - well the crunch it is always good to have a texture change in your meal. Basically everything I tried was delicious.
It would be nice to enjoy my sushi with an Asahi or Ichiban, but that is ok - maybe in the future ... hint hint hint?

I was in heaven as soon as I walked in. I literally wanted to order everything on the menu! We ordered Seaweed salad, edamame, the Don, Crunchy Cali, Yoga Fire and Sweet P (we were the first to try it!) Seaweed Salad was A , even the hubby and kids liked it! Edamame was plain with salt- ok but I would love for this to be kicked up a notch with garlic or spices or both! The Don was the first roll to come out and we devoured it, all the flavors on point, the mushroom gave it a meaty texture. The Crunchy Cali - as a native Californian I yield to the non traditional deep fried roll - nice texture and all the internal flavors were balanced well, I would order this at every visit. Sweet P was up next, I liked the mellow flavors of the tempura sweet potato and cream cheese - it was a good order for the kiddos. I would have liked more crunch on the tempura but still good nonetheless. Finally the Yoga Fire - YUM!! My husband tapped out but I loved the heat, I couldn’t get enough. All in all, this place is a must go! Can’t wait to get back to OC and to Kensho Vegan Sushi!
