I had my wedding at Diamond Seafood 3 in July 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The venue owner - uncle Bao, is an absolute professional and a huge help throughout the entire process. We had so many questions leading up to the big day, and he was always there, patiently answering everything and providing guidance. What really stood out was his genuine care in making our wedding affordable - he offered suggestions to minimize our budget wherever possible, rather than pushing us to spend more on additional services!

The venue itself was beautifully decorated - simple yet elegant, which perfectly suited the atmosphere we wanted to create. The food was amazing, served in large portions, and absolutely delicious! The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly.

After the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the venue itself. I’m so grateful to uncle Bao for making our special day so beautiful and memorable. I highly recommend Diamond Seafood 3 to anyone looking for a wedding venue in OC - it truly exceeded our expectations!

My wife and I had an Asian (Vietnamese, specifically) wedding and decided that Diamond Seafood Palace 3 was the best venue for our reception. Prior to the event, we were in contact with Laura from Diamond Seafood, and she was very professional and responsive to any questions that we had regarding food/drink, timing, venue-provided decor, and pricing for services. We scheduled a tasting a few months prior to the reception, and were very impressed with the food from the menu that we selected. We had 1 change on the menu, and Laura was able to accommodate the change with no issues. When we got closer to the event, we met with Laura one last time to finalize the details regarding pricing/payment, food/drink, slide show, lighting, tables, and decor/floor set up. They were also able to accommodate a special request to ensure that our reception set-up was a little less hectic. At the reception, we were very impressed with Diamond Seafood Palace 3. The guests really enjoyed the food, the floor set up was exactly as agreed, the open bar was a hit, and the reception was perfect. There is plenty of parking for guests, especially in the evening. The venue does hold other events that may coincide with your event (separated by partitions, separate entrances), but the partitions do a good job of blocking most of the sound from the other events. Overall, if you are looking at hosting a big event, like a wedding reception, Diamond Seafood Palace 3 is a great venue.

We just had our Vietnamese wedding here, and I can’t express how thrilled we are with how everything turned out! With 600 guests (60 tables), we were initially concerned about how the restaurant would manage such a large crowd.

Let me tell you, these guys are pros! They operate like a well-oiled machine and truly know how to run a wedding service. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and we felt supported every step of the way.

What impressed us the most was how they went above and beyond, including thoughtful extras that made our day even more memorable.

Amazing food and a perfect venue for weddings. My favorite menu items include the lobster noodles, scallop wrapped in fried shrimp paste and the filet mignon. Highly recommend!

The wedding held on August 16, 2025, was exceptionally well-organized, and the culinary offerings were of excellent quality.

Food are delicious. fried rice was served last lol 😆 so we eat lobster. shrimp. fish and crab soup first not bad. very good place to celebrate different occasions.

We scheduled a tasting appointment on November 15th after confirming our wedding date was available on November 9th. However, during our visit, we discovered they had double-booked our preferred room just days after our initial confirmation.

The venue offered us a less desirable corner section as an alternative, but their approach to resolving their error was unprofessional. When we inquired about an open bar for our 100 guests, the manager dismissively called it “a waste of alcohol.” Additional charges were mentioned for basic setup items with no consideration for their booking mistake.

Most concerning was their tasting policy: you pay the full menu price ($598 in our case) upfront, receiving a 50% refund only if you book. Since they failed to inform us about the double-booking beforehand, we felt trapped into paying for a tasting we wouldn’t have scheduled had we known the truth. When we requested time to consider our options, they initially demanded full payment despite their error.

The staff showed no accountability for their mistake and were unapologetic throughout. After extensive discussion, they provided a partial discount, but the damage was done. We ultimately chose another venue.

For couples planning their wedding: verify room availability in writing and be aware of their non-refundable tasting policy before committing to an appointment.

We are grateful to have hosted our wedding at the Diamond Seafood Palace #3. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, thoughtful, and above all – stress-free. We had been searching for a venue that could comfortably accommodate 300–400 guests, felt modern and elegant, and offered great value. After speaking with multiple places, the team here stood out immediately for their responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care, especially Laura, who helped us understand what the venue provided before we booked it.

Our ceremony and reception both took place inside the restaurant, and even though another event was happening in a different section of the venue, we barely noticed thanks to the effective soundproofing.

The space had a romantic and modern vibe, complete with golden chairs, multiple LED screens showcasing our wedding photos, custom lighting with our names on the dance floor, and a romantic sweetheart table. We were amazed at how much was included: from elegant aisle décor and a red carpet entrance to a seating chart mirror and photobooth. The centerpieces were tasteful and truly brought the whole look together.

Guests enjoyed how spacious the venue was and loved the delicious food – with plenty of generous portions and leftovers to bring home. The service was outstanding; every waiter was attentive and efficient, making sure everyone felt well taken care of.

A major highlight was our venue coordinator, Anh Bao, who was not only calm and easy to work with, but also accommodating. When we realized last-minute that we had under-ordered beer, he quickly helped us get more without any hassle.

If you’re looking for a venue that delivers elegance, value, and above-and-beyond service, we can’t recommend Diamond Seafood Palace #3 enough. Our wedding day was unforgettable, and this venue played a huge part in making it so special.

Excellent food. My only complaint is that a water pitcher was not provided and the water served tasted weird, not good. Should serve filtered water to complement the delicious food!!

Chu Bao went above and beyond and really made our dream wedding come true. He was very kind and patient with me because I was pretty indecisive with my vision. We highly recommend Diamond seafood place 3 and Chu Bao. Five stars!
